IN THE MATTER OF ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 4, OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2147. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION PASSING UPON PROTESTS AND OBJECTIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council adopted its Resolution of Intention In the Matter <br /> of Acquisition and Improvement District No. 4 of the City of Santa Ana, on the 4th day <br /> of November, 1929, and at the time and place fixed therein for the hearing of any and <br /> all objections or protests, which, under the provisions of the "Acquisition and Improve- <br /> ment Act of 1925", can be presented to this Legislative Body, took up the matter of <br /> hearing the same; and <br /> <br /> %~EREAS, at the time not later than the hour set for said hearing, certain <br /> o~ners of land within the boundaries of the Assessment District as the same are set <br /> forth in said Resolution of Intention filed with the Clerk of this Legislative Body <br /> written objections to the doing of the thing or things in said Resolution of Intention <br /> proposed to be done in their entirety, and to the ordering of the same, and certain <br /> obJections~ written and oral, having been made to the doing of the said things so pro- <br /> posed to be done and to the grades to which said improvements are proposed to be con- <br /> str~ctmd$ and to the extent of the Assessment District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, careful consideration has been given to said objections and protests, <br /> and an opportunity has been afforded to all persons desiring to be heard thereon, and a <br /> full, fair and impartial hearing upon the entire matter has been had, and evidence has <br /> been received relative to the area of property represmnted in the' written protests filed, <br /> and upon the other matters objected to; <br /> <br /> le That the owners of more than one-half of the area of the property included <br /> within the entire Assessment District, as described in the Resolution of Intention hereto <br /> fore adopted in this matter, on the 4th day of November, 1929, and in the specifications <br /> <br /> therefor referred ~to in said Hesolution, have not made written objection going to the <br /> enti~e~~,~._~:~i~ ~ 'therein proposed to be donee <br /> 2. That all of the protests and objections, both written and oral, against <br /> <br />the doing of the thing or things proposed to be done in said Resolution of Intention are <br />hereby overruled and denied. <br /> <br /> 3. That the boundaries of the Assessment District for said Acquisition and <br /> Improvement District No. 4 of the City of Santa Ana, as proposed in said Resolution of <br /> Intention, are hereby adopted and established as the boundaries of said Assessment Distri, <br /> <br /> 4. That the grades to which said i~provements and work are to be constructed <br />as finally determined hereby are those set forth in the plans and specifications, and <br />referred to in Resolution of Intention No. 2142. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced, passed <br />and adopted by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, at an adjourned regular meeting <br />held on the 25th day of November, 1929, by the following vote~of the members thereof~ <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> ATfES, TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, W.J.Kelly, Homer C.
