RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br /> <br />NO. 2100 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ESTABLISH SET-BACK LINES UPON <br />NORTH ROSS STREET, ON BOTH SIDES OF SAID STREET, FROM NINE- <br />TEENTH STREET TO SANTA CLARA AVENUE, EXCEPTING THE CORNER <br />LOTS FACING NINETEENTH STREET AND SANTA CLARA AVENUE <br />RESPECTIVELY; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING <br />OBJECTIONS TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SAID SET-BACK LINES. <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Ordinance No. 815 of the City of Santa Ana prescribing the method of procedure for <br /> establishing set-back lines in the City of Santa Ana, do resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the public interest and convenience requires, and it is the <br />intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, California, to establish set-back <br />lines upon the following street in the City of Santa Ana, between which and the respectiw <br />street lines of said street it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to <br />erect any building or structure, or to place any structure thereon, t o-wit: <br /> <br /> North Ross Street on both sides of said street, from Nineteenth Street to <br />Santa Clara Avenue, forty (40) feet outside of the present East and West lines <br />respectively of said street, excepting from the provisions hereof the corner lots on <br />said portion of North Ross Street fronting on Nineteenth Street and Santa Clara Avenue <br />respectively. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Notice is hereby given, that on the 1st day of July, 1929, at <br /> <br />V:50 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of the said City of Santa Ana, <br />any and all persons having an~ objections to the establishment of said set-back lines, <br />or either of them, may appear before the City Council and show cause why an ordinance <br />should not be passed and adopted establishing set-back lines upon the above mentioned <br />street in accordance with this Resolution. That all persons desiring to so appear <br />should file with the City Clerk of the City of Santa Ana before the hearing herein set <br />a written protest against the establishment of said set-back lines designated herein, <br />or any part thereof, and no other protests or objections will be considered. <br /> <br /> Section 5. The Santa Ana DaLly Evening Register, a daily newspaper published <br />and circulated, and of general circulation in the City of Santa Ana, is hereby <br />designated as the newspaper in which this Resolution of Intention shall be published, andi <br />the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause this R~solution of Intention to <br />be published by one insertion in said newspaper, which publication shall be at least ten <br />(10) days before the time of said hearing. <br /> <br /> Section 4. The Street Superintendent of said City ~hall, after the adoption of <br />this Resolution of Intention, cause to be conspicuously posted in front of each block or <br />part of block upon said street where said set-back lines are proposed to be established <br />a copy of this Resolution of Intention in the manner and form prescribed by said <br />Ordinance No. 815 of said City. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution of Intention was duly and <br />regularly introduced and passed by the City Council of the City of Santa ~tua, at an <br />adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 10th day of June, 1929, by the following vo <br /> <br />to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />NOES, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />ABSENT, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />J.L.McBride, ¥~.J.Kelly, Homer C. <br />Stanley E.
