RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2101 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI~E CITY OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING T~EIR INTENTION TO ESTABLISH SET-BACK LINES UPON NORTH SYC~0RE STREET, ON SIDES OF SAID STREET, FR0~.~ WASHINGTON AVE~UE TO SEVENTEENTH STREET, EXCEPTING THE CORNER L0'I~S FACING WASHINGT0~i AVENUE, FIFTEENTH STREET AND SEVENTEENTH STREET RESPECTIVELY; AND FIXING THE TI~,~ AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO THE ESTABLISH~,~ENT OF SJ\ID SET-BACK LINES. The City Council of the Gity of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisions ~anta Ana prescribing the method of pro- of Ordinance No. 813 of the City of ~ cedure for establishing set-back lines in the City of Santa Ana, do resolve as follows: it is the Section 1. That the public interest intention of the City Council of the to e~tab!ish set-back lines upon ~e following and convenience requires, and City of Santa Ana, California, street in the City of Santa ~a, between which and the respective street lines of said street it shall be unlaw- ful for any person, firm or corporation to erect any building or structure, or to place any structure thereon, to-wit; North Sycamore Street on both sides of said street,~fr.om~ ~'~ashington Aven~e to Seventeenth Street, fifteen (18) feet outside of the present East and ~est lines respectively of said street, excepting from the prowisions hereof the corner lots on said portion of North Sycamore Street fronting on ~ash~ngton Avenue, Fifteenth Street and Seventeenth Street respectively. Section 2. Notice is hereby given, that on the 8th day of July, 1~9, at 7:~0 o'clock P.~. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of the said City of Santa Ana, any and all persons having any objections to the establishment of said set-back lines, or either or.them, may appear before the City Council and ~how cause why an ordinance should not be passed and adopted establishing set- back lines upon the above mentioned street in accordance with this Resolution. That all persons desiring to so appear should file with the City Clerk of the City of Santa Aha before the hearing herein set a written protest against the establishment of said set-back li~es designated herein, or any part thereof, and no other protests or objections will be considered. ~ ~ Section ~. The Santa kua Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated, and of general circulation in the City of Santa Aha, is hereby designated as the ne~sp~per in which this Resolution of Intention shall be published, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause this Resolution of Intention to be published by one insertion in said newspaper, which publication shall be at least ten (10) days before the time of s~id hearin Section ~. The Street Su~rintendent of said City shall, after the adoption of this Resolution of Intention, cause to be conspicuously posted in ~ront of each block or part of block upon said street where said set-back lines are proposed to be established a copy of this Resolution of Intention, in the manner and form prescribed by said Ordinance No. 81S of said City. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution of Intention was duly and regularly iatroduced and passed by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana ~t a regular meeting thereof held on the l~th day of June, 1929, by the followin vote, to-wit: AYES, NOES, ABSENT, (SEAL).
