RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br /> NO. 2108 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ESTABLISH <br /> SET-BACK LINES UPON WASHINGTON AVENUE, ON BOTH <br /> SIDES OF SAID ~TREET, FROM THE SANTA FE RAILWAY <br /> TO GRAND AVENUE; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR <br /> HEARING OBJECTIONS TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SAID <br /> SET-BACK LINES. <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Santa Aha, pursuant to the provisions <br />of Ordinance No. 813 of ~he City of Santa Aha prescribing the method of procedure <br />for establishing set-back lines in the City of Santa Ana, do resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That ~he public interest and convenience requires, and it <br />is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to <br />establish set-back lines upon the following street in the City of Santa Aha, <br />between which and the respective street lines of said street it shall Oe unlaw- <br />ful for any person, firm or corporation to erect any building or structure, o9 <br />to place any structure thereon, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Washington Avenue, on both sides of said street, from the Santa Fe <br />Railway to Grand Avenue, ten (lO)~eet outside of the present North and South <br />lines respectively of said street. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Notice is hereby given, that on the 5th day of August, <br />1929, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of the said <br />City of Santa Aha, any and all persons having any objections to the est ablishment <br />of said set-back lines, or either of them, may appear before the City Council <br />and show cause why an ordinance should not be passed and adopted establishing <br />set-back lines upon the above mentioned street in accordance with this <br />Resolution. That all persons desiring to so appear should file with the City <br />Clerk of the City of ~anta Ana before the hearing herein set a written protest <br />against the establishment of said set-back lines designated herein, or any part <br />thereof, andnno other pr~tests or objections will oe considered. <br /> <br /> Section 3. The ~anta Aha Daily Evening Hegister, a daily newspaper <br />published ~nd oirculated, and of general circulation in =he City of Santa Aha, <br />is hereby designated as the newspaper in which this Resolution of Intention shall <br />be published, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause this <br />Resolution of Intention to be published by one insertion in said newspaper, <br />which publication shall be at least te~ (10) days before ~he time of said hearing. <br /> <br /> Section 4. The Street Superintendent of said City shall, after the <br />adoption of this Resolution of Intention, cause to be conspicuously posted in <br />front of each block or part of block upon said street where said set-back lines <br />are proposed to be established a copy of this Resolution of Intention, in th~ <br />manner and form prescribed by said Ordinance No. 813 of said City. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that ~he foregoing Resolution of Intention was duly <br />and regularly introduced and passed by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, <br />at a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of Ju~ly, 1929, by the following <br /> <br />vote, <br /> <br />(SEA ). <br /> <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> AYES, <br /> <br />NOES, <br /> <br />ABSENT, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, Homer C.
