CHANGE OF GRAD~ Section 3. That the grade to M2ich the work shall be done and improve- ment made which is provided for in this Resolution is sho~rn on the profiles therefor on file in the office of the City Engineer, to which said profiles refer- ence is hereby made for the description of such grade, and it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana that the grade shovm on the plans and profiles is the official grade to which the work herein ordered shall be done DESCRIPTION OF BONDS Section 4. The said City Council does hereby declare and determine and notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments and to bear interest at the rate of six percent per annllm will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of July next succeed- lng ten (10) months from their date. DESCRIPTION OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT Section 5. That the contemplated work and improvement hereinbefore mentioned is in the opinion of the City Council of more than local or ordinary public benefit, and the expense of said work and iz~rovement is made chargeable upon the district hereinafter described, and said City Council does hereby declar~ said district to be the district benefited by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof, which district is bounded and described as follows, to-wit: Located in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, and d~scribed as follows: Beginning at a point in the center line of Fifth Street, said point being the intersection of the said center line of Fifth Street with the Southerly extended Westerly line of Lot 3 of Fair- lawll Park Tract as p~r map thereof on file in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 4, ~age 46, Records.of Orange County, California; thence Northerly along the last described line and along the ~esterly line of said Lot 3 to an intersection with the Southerly line of Lot 4 of said Fairlawn Park Tract; thence Westerly along the Southerly line of said Lot 4 to the Westerly line of said Fairlawn Park Tract; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of said Tract to the North- westerly corner of Lot lV of said Tract; thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said Lot 17 to the Southwesterly corner of Lot ~0 of said Fairla~m Park Tract; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of said Eot ~0 and along the Northerly extension of said Westerly line to an intersection with the center line of Eighth Street; thence Easterly along the center line of Eighth Street to an intersection with the center.line of Artesia Street; thence Southerly along the center line of Artesia Street to an intersect- ion with the Easterly extended Southerly line of Lot 89 of said Fairlawn Park Tract; thence ~esterly along said last described line and along the Southerly lines of Lots 59, 58 and 57 of said Tract to the Northeasterly corner of Lot ~4 of said Fairlawn Park Tract; thence Southerly along the Easterly lines of Lots 24 to S~ inclusive of said Fairla~l Park Tract to an intersection with the Northerly line of Lot 40 of said Fairlawn Park Tract; thence Southerly and parallel to the ~esterly line of said Lot 40 to an intersection with the center line of Fifth Street; thence Westerly along the center line of Fifth Street to the point of beginning. AND PLACE OF HEARING Section 8. Notice is hereby given that on the V'th day of April, 1930~ at V:30 o~clock P.~[. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City of Santa Ana any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work or i~rovement may appear before the said City Council and show cause why said proposed i~prove- ment should not be carried out in accordance with this ilesolution.
