~43,525.00, heretofore advanced by said City from its General Fund and deposited in <br />Court, in order that immediate ~ossession and use of the public ways sought to be ac- <br />quire~ under the proceedings in the above entitled matter might be had, to reimburse the <br />Treasury of said City from the sale of s~id bonds as provided by law, and for the purpose <br />of furnishing an opportunity to all persons owning lands within the said Assessment <br />District, or otherwise interested, and Feeling aggrieved by any act or determination <br />done or made in the said proceeding, or claiming that any of the previous acts~ <br />determinations or proceedings are irregular, defective, erroneous or faulty, or having <br />any objections to offer, or any reason to advance why bonds should not be issued in the <br />amount above set forth, for the purpose above set forth, to appear before this City <br />Council and be heard upon any of the above mentioned matters. Said bnnds so proposed <br />to be issued in the sum of ~43,525.00 will be iasued under and in pursuance of the pro- <br />visions of the "Acquisition and Improvement Act of 1925", as amended, and shall be <br />issued at a maximum rate of interest which shall not exceed eight percent (8%) per annum <br />payable semi-annually, the exact rate of interest at which the bonds are to be issued <br />and sold to be determined at the sale of such bonds, and the aggregate principal of all <br />bonds issued shall be paid and discharged within twenty-three years after the date of <br />issuance, approximately one-twentieth part of such aggregate principal to be payable <br />annually, all in gold coin, the first~ payment of the aggregate principal of the bonds <br />will be made three (3) years after the issuance thereof. A special fund for the pay- <br />ment of said bonds will be constituted by the levy of special assessment taxes upon <br />the lands within the Assessment District, according to the assessed value of said lands, <br />exclusive of the improvements, as finally determined by this City Council upon the 25th <br />day of November, 1929, and as more fully set forth in the Resolution of Intention in the <br />above entitled matter, adopted by said City Council on the 4th day of November, 1929. <br /> <br /> 2. The Clerk of this City Council shall prepare and sign a notice of the <br />above mentioned hearing and shall canse the same to be published by at least two insert- <br />ions in the newspaper designated in said Resolution of Intention, and a copy of said <br />notice to be posted and kept posted for at least two days on or near the Chamber Door of <br />said City Council. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly passed and adopted <br />by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, at a regular meeting thereof held on the <br />20th day of January, 1930, by the following vote of the members thereof: <br /> <br /> AYES, TRUSTEES: J.L.l~cBride, Homer C.
