RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVE~ENT <br /> NO. 2162. <br /> , WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, on the 30~h day of <br /> <br />December, 1929, passed its Resolution of Intention No. 215~, to order the herein- <br />after described improvement to be made and public work to be done in the City of <br /> <br />Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of Resolution of Intention No. <br />2157~ the Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted <br />along the line of the contemplated work and improvement at not more than three <br />hundred (800) feet in distance apart and ~ in all, notices of the passage of said <br />Resolution of Intention, headed, NOTICE OF PUBLIC WOi~K, in the manner, form and <br />substance as required by law, and said Street Superintendent also caused a notice <br />similar in substance to be published for a period of ten (10) days in the Santa <br />Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the <br />City of Janta Ana, and namaed by said City Council in said Resolution of Intention <br />as the paper in which said notice ~hould appear, all as appears from the affidavit <br />of We Lee Millis, principal Clerk of the printers and publishers of said daily <br />newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the Office of the Clerk of the City <br />of Santa Aha on the 13th day of January, 1930, and is now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thee Street Superintendent of the City of Santa .&ua commenced <br />the posting of the notices hereinbefore referred to on the 81st day of December, <br />1929, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 81st day of December, 1929, <br />as appears from the affidavit of Clyde L. Jenken, ~treet Superintendenb of the Cit <br />of Santa Ana, and more than ten (10) days having expired after the expiration of <br />the time of the publication of said notice within which protests or objections to <br />the propo?ed work or improvement might be made by any person interested objecting <br />to said work or improvement, or to the extent of the district or lands to be <br />affected or benefited by said work or im~ovement and to be assessed to pay the <br />costs and expenses thereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the next meeting of the City Council after the expiration of <br />said ten days after the expiration of the time of the publication of said notice, <br />and no objection to said work'or improvement having been made or on file, why said <br />proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution <br /> <br />of Intention, the City Council of the City of <br />diction ko order the proposed improvement; <br /> <br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED: <br /> <br />Santa Ana having now acquired Juris- <br /> <br />That the public interest and con- <br /> <br />venience requires the work hereinafter described and the City Council of the City <br />of Santa Aha hereby orders the following work to be done and improvement made in <br />the City of Santa Aha, as follows: <br /> <br />That the following portion of Brov~ Street as hereinafter described in <br /> <br />the C~ty of Santa Aha be closed up and abandoned, to-wit: <br /> <br /> All that portion of Brovm Street extending from the Easterly line <br />of Santa Ana East a~ Der map thereof on file in Book 10, Pages 48 and <br />44, Miscellaneous Recorda of Los Angeles County, California, Westerly <br />between Blocks 25 and 26, 81 and 82, ~9 and 40 of said Santa Aha East <br />to the Easterly ~ine of that portion of Brov~ Street previously <br />abandoned as recorded in Deed Book 554, Page 876, Official Records of <br />Orange County, Californiae <br /> <br />All of which is more clearly shov,n on a certain map approved and adopted <br /> <br />Lta <br /> <br /> <br />
