RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2189 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SEWEE SYSTEM, WATER MAINS, AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS UPON AND ALONG POR- TIONS OF THOSE PUBLIC STREETS CO~ONLY KNOWN AS AND CALLED MAIN STREET, CTPRESS AVENUE, ORANGE AVENUE, MAPLE STREET, MEASOR STREET, HALLADAM STREET, EVERGREEN STREET, ST. ANDRE~tS PLACE, ST. GERTRUDE tS PLACE, EELHI ROAD, FLORA STREET, CENTRAL AVENUE, ADAMS STREET, EMMKETT STREET, GOETZ AVENUE AND DYER ROAD AND ANAHURST PLACE, AND CERTAIN RIGHTS-OF-WAT, AND A CERTAIN PARCEL OF CITY PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED; DECLARING THE SAID WORK TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL'OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT, AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES, AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK AND IMPROVE- MENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911 and the ~mprovement Bond Act of 191S, and amendments to said acts, ~o resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenience require and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana to order the constr~ct- ion of the following described work and improvements in said City, to-wit: That the portions of streets, rights-of-way and City property upon which work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter set forth shall be upon and along those open public streets commonly known as and called: The East one-half of Main Street from the Northerly line of Tract No. 284, as per map thereof on file in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 14, Pages i and 2, Records of Orange County, California, t~ Dyer Road; Cypress Avenue from the North line of said Tract No. 284 to Delhi Road, Right-of-Way No. 1 being a certain Right-of-Way five (S) feet wide and being two and one-half (2~) feet on each side of a certain line described as a line beginning at a p~int in the S~utherly line of Delhi Hoad, said point being distant 367.~0 feet Easterly from the Northwesterly corner of Block "A" of South Santa Ana, as per map thereof on file in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 5, Page 43,, Records of Orange County, California, and running Southerly and parallel to the Westerly line of said Block "A" a distance of 208 feet to a point; Right-of-Way No. 2 being a certain Right-of-Way five (~) £eet wide and being two and one-half (2~) feet on each side of a center line described as a line beginning at a point in the Northerly line of Flora Street said point being distant 377.§0 feet EasterSy from the Southwesterly corner of the above described Block "A" of South Santa ~na and running Northerly and parallel to the Westerly line of said Block "A" a distance of 14~ feet to a point; Cypress Avenue from Flora Street to the Southerly line of the above described South Santa Ana; Cypress Avenue from Goetz Avenue to the Northerly line of Lot 33, Tract No. 1~9 as per map thereof on file in Miscellaneous Maps, BooS ll, Page 49, Records of Orange County, California~ Orange Avenue from the Northerly line of said Tract No. 284 to Delhi Road; Maple Street from the Northerly line of said Tract No. 284 to Delhi Road; Measor Street from Central Avenue to Adams Street; Halladay Street from Delhi Road to Central Avenue; Halladay Street from ~ldams Street to a point in said Halladay Street distant 358 feet Northerly from the center line of Dyer Road; Evergreen Street fro~ Delhi Road to the Northerly line of the Pacific Electric Railway Company's Right- of-Way and Evergreen Street from the Southerly line of the Pacific Electric Rail- way Company's Right-of-Way to Emmett Street; St. Andrew's Place from Main Street to Maple Street; St. Gertrude's Place from Main Street to Maple Street; Anahurst Place from Main Street to Maple Street; Delhi Road from Main Street to the Easterl line of Tract No. 638 as per map thereof on file in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 19, Page 17, Records of Orange County, California; Flora Street from Main Street to the Easterly terEinus of said Flora Street as shown on said Map of South Santa Ana; Flora Street from Halladay Street to Evergreen Street; Central Avenue from Main Street to Evergreen Street; Adams Street from Cypress Avenue to Evergreen Street; Ermmett Street from Halladay Street to a point ll8 feet Easterly from the center line of Evergreen Street; Goetz Avenue from Main Street to the Easterly line of said Tract No. 159; the Northerly one-half (~) of Dyer Road from Main Street to a point 181.50 feet Easterly from the Easterly line of Main Street; a certain parcel of City property bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Northerly line of Dyer Road distant.140 feet Easterly from the East- erly line of Main Street; thence Northerly and parallel to said Easterly line of Main Street a distance of 50 feet to a point; thence Easterly and parallel to the Northerly line of Dye~ Road a distance of 20 feet to a point; thence Southerly and parallel to the said ~asterly line of Main Street a distance of 80 feet to a point in the Northerly line of said Dyer Road; thence Westerly along said Northerl line of Dyer Road a distance of 20 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the hereinabove described portions of streets, right-of-way and city property in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Engineer shall be as follows: That the Easterly one-half (~) of Main Street from the Northerly line of Tract No. 284 to a line drawn parallel to and distant 7.78 feet Southerly from the Westerly extended Northerly line of Dyer Road shall be improved by the installation of a cast iron pipe water main, valves, fire hydrant, and all other
