RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2192 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE INSTALLATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF AN ORNAMENTAL LIGHTING SYSTEM ON BIRCH STREET BETWEEN PAIRVIEW AVENLrE AND THE NORT}~RLY LINE OF TRACT NO. 352; DECLARING THE SAID WORK TO BE OF N~E THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFIT)~ BY SAID WORK AND IMPROVENENT AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETEPJ~INING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECT- IONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911 and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and amendments to said acts, do resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenience requires and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the con- struction of the following described work and improvement in said City, to-wit: That the portion of the street in the City of Santa Ana upon which work shall be done and improvements made as hereinafter set forth shall be upon and along that open public street commonly known as and called Birch Street between Fairview Avenue and the Northerly line of Tract No. 352. That the work to be done and improvements to be made upon and along the here- inabove described portion of Birch Street in accordance with the plans and specification~ therefor on file in the office of the City Engineer shall be as follows: The furnishing, installation and construction of an ornamental lighting system together with the necessary appurtenances to said lighting system, including the installation of single light standards of the type and kind known as Narbelite Lighting Standards, Design No. lll0 - S, complete, including all concrete foundations, anchor bolts, potheads, wiring, lamps, globes, canopies and other necessary items to complete the lighting system, and the furnishing and installing of all necessary conduits and cables, making the necessary connections to the existing circuit at the location indicated on the plans, and making all connections between standards, all as particular] indicated on the plans and mpecifications; and the repairing of all curbs, sidewalks~ culverts, pavement or other improvements cut or damaged du~ing the c~ustruction; togethe with such other work and improvements as shown on the plans and specifications which shall be considered as incidental to the above described w~rk and improvement, and no additional compensation shall be allowed therefor. That for the installation of the hereinbefore described system, a patented article will be used, and a license agreement between the Narbelite Corporation, selling agents for General Electric Company, and the City of Santa Ana is now on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to which said agreement reference is hereby made and the same is made a part of this Resolution by reference, the same as though set forth in full herein. ~LANSI PROFILES, CROSS-SECTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS Section 2. That the hereinbefore described street, together with the fores in work and improvements are fully set forth, delineated and described on the plans, profil cross-sections and detailed drawings known as "THE PLANS FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 185' and as set forth in the specifications ~nown as "THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR ASSESS~ENT DISTRICT NO. 185", Which plans and specifications are on file in the Office of the City
