IN THE MATTER OF ACQUISITION A1Q~D I~PROVENENT DISTRICT NO. V OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA RESOLUTION ORDERING ACQUISITION AND IMPROVENENT ,NO. 2195 ?.q~EREAS, at the time, place and in the manner set forth in Resolution of Intention No. 2184, adopted by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha on the 21st da of April, 1930, In the Matter of Acquisition and Improvement District No. 7 of the City of Santa Ana, a full, fair and impartial hearing was accorded all persons having any objections to those things proposed to be done as set forth in said Resolution; and WHEREAS, this City Council has adopted its Resolution passing upon all pro- tests presented, both written and oral, and has made its determination as to the extent of the Assessment District; and WHEREAS, evidence has been received as to the publication of said Resolution of Intention No. 2184, and the posting of notice of public improvement therein ordered posted, at the time and in the manner prescribed by law, and as to the necessity for the acquisitions contemplated and the benefits to be derived therefrom. NOW, THFH~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana~ that it is hereby found, determined and ordered as follows: 1. That the said Resolution of Intention No. 2184 heretofore adopted on the 21st day of April, 1930, has been duly and legally published as required by law, and that the notice of public improvement therein directed to be posted has been duly and legally posted, .in the time, form, manner and number as required by law, and that all protests or objections presented have been disposed of in time, form and manner as required by law, and that this Legislative Body has now acquired jurisdiction to order the things proposed to be done as set forth in said Resolution of Intention No. 2184. 2. That the boundaries of the Assessment District for said Acquisition and Improvement District No. 7, as proposed in said Resolution of Intention are hereby adopted and established as to the boundaries of said Assessment District. 3. That the public interest and necessity requires, and it is hereby ordered that the following acquisitions for the widening of a portion of West Seventeenth Street, in the City of Santa Ana, be made to-wit: A strip of land fourteen (14) feet wide lying North of and in~aediately adjacent to the North line of Seventeenth Street and extending from the '?esterly line of Nain Street to the Easterly line of Greenleaf Street~ excepting from said fourteen (14) foot strip of land any and all portions thereof used for street and alley purposes. A strip of land fifteen (15) feet wide lying South of and immediately adjacent to the Southerly line of Seventeenth Street and extending from the Westerly line of Main Street to the Easterly line of Flower Street, excepting from said fifteen (15) foot strip of land any and all portions thereof used for street and alley purposes$ all as set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No. 2184, passed and adopted on the 2lst day of April, 1930, and in the specifications referred to, and that the property necessary to be taken for such widening of West Seventeenth Street, and which ~s hereby ordered to be acquired therefor, is that described in Section I of said Resolution of Intention. 4. That the City Attorney of the City of Santa Ana is hereby ordered to bring an action in the name of the City of Santa Ana, in the Superior Court of the State of
