.drawn parallel thereto and distant 10 feet northerly therefrom and also from the south- erly line of First Street to a line drawn parallel thereto and distant 25 feet souther- ly therefrom; and Minnie Street from the southerly line of First Street to a line drawn parallel thereto and distant 5 feet southerly therefrom; excepting, however, from all of the above described portions of streets Any portions thereof which are already improved to the official grade, as shown on the plans and also excepting from the above described streets such portions as are required by law to be kept in order or repair by any person or company having railroad tra6ks thereon. That the work to be done and improvements to be made u~on and along the hereinabove described portions of streets in accordance with the plans and specificatio~ therefor on file in the office of the City Engineer shall be as follows: The furnishing, installation and construction upon the hereinbefore described portions of First Street of an ornamental lighting system complete, together with the necessary appurtenances to said lighting system, including the installation of cast iron double ornamental lighting standards, lighting units, lamps, globes, wiring, potheads, concrete foundations and all necessary cables, conduits and the necessary connections to the service point, all %s particularly indicated on and in accordance with the plans and specifications hereinafter mentioned, together with the replacement or repair of all pavement, curbs, sidewalks, culverts, conduit, pipe line or sewer cut or damaged during the construction of the lighting system, all as shown on the plans. That all of the hereinbefore described portion of First Street, including all street intersections, excepting therefrom that portion already improved to the official grade, as shown on the plans, shall be improved by the grading and paving thereof with Portland cement concrete pavement, all as shown on the plans; the con- st~uction of Portland cement concrete curbs along the curb lines of said street, and at street intersections around curvs to intersect the curb lines of said streets, all as shown on the plans; the constmaction of Portland cement concrete sidewalks along each side of said street, all as shown on the plans; the construction of certain vitrified clay pipe sewer laterals from the ends of existing laterals to the property lines of said street and the lowering of certain existing sewer laterals, all as shown on the plans; the construction of rail top reinforced cohcrete culverts at Main Street and the extension of rail top reinforced concrete culverts at Cypress Avenue, Lacy Street and Evergreen Street, all as shown on the plans; the construction of reinforced concrete culverts along said First Street at the extension of Maple Street, and at the Southern Pacific Companyts spur track hear Minnie Street, all as shown on the plans. That the hereinbefore described portion of Main Street shall be improved by the grading and paving thereof with Portland cement concrete pavement, the con- struction of Portland cement concrete curbs, the const~actton of Portland cement concret sidewalks, the extension of reinforced~concrete culvert to be constructed across First Street, together with all appurtenances thereto and the moving and re-installing of ornamental lighting standards, all as shown on the plans. That the hereinbefore described portion of Bush Street Shall be improved by the grading and paving thereof with Portland cement concrete pavement, the construction of Portland cement concrete curbs and Portland cement concrete sidewalks, all as shown on the plans. ~S
