3( 0 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2S66 <br /> <br /> THAT WHEREAS, the followXmg described real property belonging to the <br />City of Santa Ana and situated in said City of Santa Ana, County of Ora~ge and more <br />particularly described as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Portion of Lot 26 of Potts, Borden and Sidwell Tract, bounded <br /> on the West by Flower Street and on the South by Santiago <br /> Creek, which property has been heretofore deeded to the said <br /> City of Santa Aha, <br /> <br />is not now being used for MuniclpaX Park purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, through the Reconstruction Finance Corporation said property has <br />been improved and certain facilities placed 9°hereih for use by the public, and that <br />said property is now available for use as a public park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Santa Aha that when said property is dedicated as a public park, it <br />would be fitting and proper that the name given to said park should represent someo <br />who has rendered service to his City, County, State and Country; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been brou~iht to the attention of said Board of Trustees <br />that one of the citizens of Santa Ana, answering the call of his Country, rendered <br />distinguished service in the late World War, and was decorated by various countries <br />as well as his own; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on account of the wounds r~eiVed in action, this man, early in <br />life, passed to the Great Beyond: <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the property hereinabove described <br />be dedicated as a public park for the use of the citizens of Santa Aha, and that <br />the name of said park be designated "JACK PISHE~ PARK". <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be published at <br />least once in the "Santa Aha Daily Evening Register". <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY that the above and foregoing Resolution was introduced <br />at a regul~ meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, held on the <br />21st day of August, 1933, and was duly passed and adopted by the following vote, <br /> <br />to-wit: <br /> <br />AI~ES, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />NOES, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />ABSENT, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />A.F.LeGaye, E.G.Warner, Paul B.
