3:, 5 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2387 <br /> <br /> THAT WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana embraces the entire First Supervisorial <br />District of Orange County, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the remaining four Supervisorial Districts of Orange County, except- <br />ing the Third District thereof, are out of line, so far as population is concerned; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Santa Ana respectfully calls to the <br />attention of the Board of Supervisors, Section 4029 of the Political Code of the State <br />of California, wherein among other things it is stated: <br /> <br /> .... . Said districts shall be as nearly equal in <br /> population as may be. - .......... , <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is quite evident that among the five Supervisorial Districts <br />there is not an equality as to population: <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha goes on record as requesting the Board of Supervisors of Orange County to change <br />the boundaries of the five Districts thereof, so as to more equitably equalize the <br />population of each of said five Districts. <br /> <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly passed <br /> <br />by the City Council of the <br />21st day of May, 1934. <br /> <br /> AYES, TRUSTA~S: <br /> NOES, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />City of Santa Aha, at a regular meeting thereef held on the <br /> <br />Paul B.
