Note revis- <br />ions in the fenestration of the east wall <br />of the building. <br /> Note, that on the first and the mezz.floor <br />the walls, ceilings, and the floors of the <br />storage vaults are increased in thickness to <br />be consistent with the grade of vault door <br />purchased by the borrower. The walls and <br />the ceilings of the vaults in the clerk's <br />and water departments are increased to 8" in <br />thickness, and the walls, floor and ceiling <br />of the vault in the audit6~'s department is <br />increased to a thickness of 12". <br /> <br />SECOND FLO0~ <br /> <br /> For the installation of all the revision <br /> work on the second floor as caused by the <br />-moving of the smoke tower, the installation <br /> of the interior wooden stairway and the <br /> omission of the connecting bridge all as here- <br /> inbefore described and shown by the drawings. <br /> There is a revision in the dimensions of the <br /> beam under the vault of the City Engineer's <br /> Department. <br /> A small register vent is to be installed to <br /> the water cooling closet. Note the change in <br /> the fenestration of the east elevation. <br /> Attention is called ~o the engineering and <br /> architectural plans as revised for the second <br /> floor plan. <br /> <br />62.51 <br /> <br />6. THIRD FLOOR <br /> For the arrangement of the third floor as <br />per revised plans and the revision in the <br />roof construction all as shown by the archi- <br />tectural and the engineering plans, of this <br />change order. Note that the revision on the <br />third story is a transposition of area. Use <br />the original specifications as applied to <br />materials and their installation. Note that <br />the telephone and the light panel closets are <br />moved to the opposite side of the corrider $$220.31 <br /> <br />EXTENSION OF TIME <br /> <br /> 0t~ing to the delay caused by the changes as <br />requested by the borrower we request that the <br />working time stipulated by the contract be ex- <br />tended thirty working days from the date of <br />approval of this change order. <br /> <br />NOTE: All of the material used an~ all of the labor <br />necessary for the execution of the requirements of <br />this change order will be governed by the original <br />plans and specifications excepting where they are <br />in direct confliction with the instructions of the <br />drawings and specifications of this change order. <br />Materials for type and grade will be as required <br />for the same or similar kind of use in the original <br />plans, unless a new type or ~rade is specified in <br />this change order. <br /> <br /> An itemized list of all work made necessary <br />by this change order, with all of the extras and <br />credits is on file with the architects, the resident <br />inspector and with the borrower. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the acceptance and approval of the foregoing <br /> <br />changes is subject to the approval of the Public Works Administration of the United <br /> <br />States of America. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Public Works Administration be and they are <br />hereby requested to make an additional grant to the City of Santa Ana of the proportional <br /> <br />part of the cost of the labor and material covered ty the foregoing change order as <br /> <br />provided in the Loan and Grant Agreement heretofore entered into between the City of <br /> <br />Santa Aha and the Government of the United States. It is further declared that the <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana has allocated and placed in the Construction Account for said project <br /> <br />the necessary funds to complete the changes contemplated by the foregoing change order, <br /> <br />amounting to the sum of $4,562.40. <br /> <br /> <br />
