RESOLUTION NO. 59-~?~ ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT OF A <br />COPY OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE PETITION FOR <br />ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO ~E CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALI- <br />FORNIA, NOMINATED "SOUTH SANTA ANA ANNEX NO. 2", STATE- <br />~NT ACCOMP~NYING SUCH NOTICE AND AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLI- <br />CATION THEREOF, AND APPROVING CIRCULATION OF PETITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore there was filed with the City Council <br />a request for annexation of certain territory to the City of Santa <br />Ana, which said request was referred to the Planning Commission, <br />~nd after approval by them the City Council adopted Resolution <br />No. 59-278 consenting to the commencement of annexation proceed- <br />ings; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore there has been filed with the City Clerk <br />a copy of NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE PETITION FOR ANNEXATION <br />OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF S~MTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, accompanied by <br />a written statement containing reasons for said annexation, to- <br />gether with an affidavit of publication of said notice showing <br />publication had on October 30, 1959, in the S~nta Aha Register. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br />the City of S~nta Ar~hereby acknowledges receipt of said notice, <br />statement and affidavit, as hereinabove set out, and that approval <br />is hereby given for the circulation of a petition for annexation <br />of that certain territory in the County of Orange, State of Cali- <br />fornia, and described on Exhibit A attached hereto and by reference <br />made a part hereof. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br /> adjourned special meeting held on the ~Ot~ day of <br /> <br /> , 1959. <br /> <br />Ana at its <br /> <br /> Oetol~r <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> · CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
