RE~OLUTION NO. %9-288 DECLARING THE CONSENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA TO COM~NCEM~NT OF PRO- CEEDINGS UNDER THE ANNEXATION ACT OF 1913 WHEREAS~ a request of residents and property owners in the area lying Southwesterly of the present Santa Aha City boundaries has been received, requesting consent of the City Council of said City to the commencement of proceedings, as required by Government Code Section 3%106, for an annexation to be ~nown as SOUTH SANTA ANNEX NO. 3; and WHEREAS, a copy of the map and petition attached to said re- quest has been referred to the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha for their consideration, and said Planning Commission has reported to the City Council~ recommending that said annexation be consented tot approved and carried forward by said City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby consents to the commencement of proceed- ings for the annexation of inhabited territory to be ~nown as $0U~H SANTA ANA ANNEX NO. 3, in accordance with the map and description attached hereto, and by reference made a part hereof.
