RESOLUTION NO. 2715

<br /> RESOSUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERT~
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED EM THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY 0F SANTA ANA:
<br /> THAT, WHEREAS, the City cf Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real
<br /> property hereinafter described, and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the various parcels hereinafter described consist of certain lots and
<br /> parcels of land within the City of Santa Aha, which said property has been acquired by
<br /> the City of Santa Aua, by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto
<br /> and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California,
<br /> under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made
<br /> and provided, and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has no use for said property or any thereof
<br /> for public purposes, and it is the opinion of the City Council that said property
<br /> should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be
<br /> placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Ana, and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, an offer has been made for the l~xrchase of said parcels by private
<br /> individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership;
<br />
<br /> N0%', THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby declare
<br />that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said City Council to be held on the
<br />20th day of November, 1959, sell said property at the price hereinafter set forth
<br />immediately following the description of said parcels to the persons who have offered
<br />in writing to purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council
<br />shall receive a bid for said parcels at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid,
<br />in which event said property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash at said
<br />meeting, and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupc~ be directed to make, execute and
<br />deliver a deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of the amount
<br />of said bid. The said property is described aS follows:

<br />Orange, State of California, more particularly described as follows:
<br />
<br /> Lot Twenty-four (24) in Block "G" of Tract No. 266. ....... $ 225.00
<br /> Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, !0, It, 12, 13, 14, 1S, 16, 19,
<br /> 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25, in Block "H" of Tract
<br /> No. 531 ........ . ...............

<br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of

<br />regular meeting held on the 6th day
