RESOLUTION NO,' 3160 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO SELL REAL PROPERTY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: That, WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is the owner of that certain real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the parcel hereinafter described consists of that certain lot and parcel of land within the City of Santa Aha, which said property has been acquired by the City of Santa Aha by deed and/or purchase from the owners of the fee title thereto and/or from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California, under the provisions of the Statutes of the State of California, in such cases made and provided, and WHEREAS, the City for public purposes, and it should be sold and conveyed of Santa Ana has no use for said property or any thereof is the opinion of the City Council that said property into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa Aha, and WHEREAS, an offer has been made for the purchase of said parcel by private individuals, and an opportunity has arisen to sell the same into private ownership: NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha does hereby declare that it intends to and will at a regular meeting of said Council to 0e held on the l@th day of October, 1942, sell its right, title and interest in and to said property at the price hereinafter set forth immediately following the description of said parc$1 to the person who has offered in writing ~,o purchase the same at said price, unless at said meeting the City Council shall receive a bid for said parcel at least ten per cent (10%) in excess of said bid, in which event said property will ce sold to the highest 0idder for cash at said meeting, and the Mayor and City Clerk will thereupon be directed to make, execute and deliver a Quitclaim the amount oi' said deed to such property to the said highest bidder upon receipt of cid. The said property is described as follows: Lot Ten (10), Dlock 3, Pacific Electric Subdivision .
