RESOLUTION ~0. 3181 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF <br /> HERBERT L. HILL AB MEMBER OF CITY COUNCIL. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> That inasmuch as Herbert L. Hill has faithfully, wisely and conscientiously <br /> served this City as a Member of its City Council during his term in that office, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has enjoyed the association, collaboration and <br /> relationship which has existed in their endeavors to solve the problems of City <br /> Government, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the existence of ~he state of war in which this nation now finds <br /> itself has increased the problems confronting the City, and of the nation, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAs, Herbert L. Hill has tendered to this Council his resignation as <br /> <br />a member thereof, in order that he may more fully devote his time and energies to <br />the service bf the men in the armed forces of this nation at the Santa Aha Army <br />Air Base, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, with sincere regret, and with all felicitations for the <br />future success of Herbert L. Hill, his resignation as a member of the City Council <br />of the City of SantaAna is hereby accepted, to be effective at the close of ~his <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be <br />delivered to Herbert L.
