RESOLUTION 64-18 DECLARING WITHDRAWAL OF TERRITORY FROM TUSTIN LIGHTING DISTRICT WHEREAS, heretofore, territories hereinbelow described were annexed to the city of Santa Aha, California, as follows: PARCEL 1 by Ordinance No. NS-583 adopted June 18, 1962 under the name of "LYON AND MAIN S.E. ANNEX"; PARCEL 2 by Ordinance No. NS-650 adopted May 6~ 1963, under the name of "EAST FIRST STREET ANNEX NO. 1"; and PARCEL 3 by Ordinance No. NS-663 adopted July 1, 1963, under the name of "EAST FIRST STREET ANNEX NO. 3", so that now all of the real property in said three parcels herein- below described is within the limits of the City of Santa Aha but still remains in the Tustin Lighting District and should be reproved therefrom for the reason that said property is afforded street lighting service without extra assessment or tax therefor within said City and is now subjected to double taxation by being in and remaining in said Tustin Lighting District; and WHEREAS, on February -- , 1964, the Orange County Boundary Commission approved the descriptions hereinbelow set.out as reason- ably definite and certain for the purpose of changing the boundary line of said District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That all of the territory within the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: PARCEL 1: Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the City of Santa Aha, California, said angle point being 10 feet Westerly of the monumented center line of Lyon Street, and South 00° 06' 00" East 1,274.35 feet, fro~ the center line of First Street, said point being the Southwest corner of the Elks Annex to said City of Santa Aha, as adopted by Ordinance NS-189, said point also being 80 feet North and 43 feet West of the Northwest corner of Lot "I" of the Stafford and Tustin Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 2, Pages 618 and 619 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, Cali- fornia; thence North 89° 07' 30" East along said city boundary and along the South line of said Elks Annex 339.12 feet to the Southeast corner of said Elks Annex and to the Southwest corner of the Prentice Park Territory Annex to said City of Santa Ana, as adopted by Ordinance Number 1269; thence continuing North 89° 07' 30" East along said City boundary and along the South line of said Prentice Park Territory Annex, 102.31 feet, to the point of intersection of said South line of said Prentice Park Territory Annex with the Northerly extension of the East line of Parcel 1 of land conveyed to LaVerne Van Wyk by deed recorded July 17, 1945 in Book 1316, Page 550, Official Records of Orange County, California, said point of intersection being on the North line of Main Street, (Tustin) 80 feet wide, as shown on said map of the Stafford and Tustin Tract; thence South 00° 06' 00" East, departing from said City boundary, 942.54 feet to the Southeast corner of Parcel 1 of said Van Wyk land; thence South 89~ 07' 30" West, 441.43 feet, along the South line of said Parcel i of said Van Wyk land and its Westerly exten- sion to a point on the existing boundary of said city of Santa A~a, as established by Ordinance Number 73, said point being Westerly 10 feet from the mon~mented center line of Lyon Street; thence North 00° 06' 00" West along said City boundary, 942.54 feet to the point of beginning.
