A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF S~TA ANA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE CLOSING <br />UP, VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION 01~ WEST MIF~EENTH <br />STREET, PURSUANT TO AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE "STREET <br />VACATION ACT OF 1941". <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Santa Aha, pttrsuant to the pre- <br />visions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941", approved Ms~ 13, 1941, <br /> <br />Statutes 1941, Chapter 250 aud amendments thereto, being Division 9, <br /> <br />Part 3, Streets and Highways Code, does hereby Resolve and Declare as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the public interest and convenience requires the <br /> <br />closing up and abandonment of a portion of West Fifteenth Street, in <br />the City of Santa Asa, and it is the intention of the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Aha to order the following described portion of a <br />certain street in said City to be vacated, closed up, and abandoned, <br /> <br />to-wit: <br /> STREET TO BE VACATED <br /> Beginning at the SouthWeSt co.er of~L0t~lO, Record of <br /> Survey 3-7; thence easterly along the south line of Lots l0 to <br /> 20 inclusive and an extension thereof to a point in the west line <br /> of Bristol Street, 630 feet south of the center line of Seventeenth <br /> Street; thence southerly along the west line of Bristol Street 30 <br /> feet; thence westerly 30 feet distant from and parallel to the south <br /> line of Lots l0 to 20 inclusive and an easterly extension thereof <br /> to 2018.42 feet to a point; thence northerly along the southerly <br /> extended west line of the said lot lC, 30 feet to the point of <br /> beinnin~. <br /> Being all of that 30 feet in width right of way through the <br /> property of the Junior College site. <br /> <br />All portions of said street to be vacated, closed up and abandoned, <br />are more clearly shown on a certain map approved and adopted by the <br />City COuncil of the City of Santa Ana for said vacation, closing up <br />and abandonment, by Resolution dated July 22, 19~6, and designated <br />Resolution No. ~.~Y/ . Reference is hereby made for further par- <br />ticulars as to the proposed vacation, closing up and abandonment of <br />said street to said map which is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk of the City of Santa Aha, and said map is hereby made a part of <br />this Resolution to the same extent and purpose as if t he same were <br />herein incorporated in full. <br /> <br /> <br />
