Section 2. That the proceedings for t he closing up and abandon- <br />ment of the aforesaid portion of said street shall be had and taken~ and <br />the City Council of the City of Santa Ara elects to proceed under the <br />provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941" approved May 15, 1941~ <br />Statutes 1941, Chapter 250 and amendments thereto, being Division 9, <br />Part 5, Streets and Highways Code. <br /> Section 3. The Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ara <br /> shall cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of the street <br /> proposed to be vacated, no~ move than 500 feet apart but not ]s ss than <br /> three in all, notices of the vacation of said street. Said notices <br /> shall state the passage of this Resolution and the time and place of the <br /> hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vaca- <br /> tion of said street, all as required by law. <br /> Section 4. Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the <br /> City of Santa Ara does hereby fix Monday, the 19th day of August, 1946, <br /> at the hour of ?:30 o,clock P. M. of said day, in the Council Chambers <br /> of the City of Santa Ara located in the City Hall in the City of Santa <br /> Ara, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or ob- <br /> jecting to the proposed vacation of said street. And the said City <br /> Council at said time and place will hear the evidence offered by any <br /> person interested in the vacation of said street heretofore described. <br /> Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adop- <br /> tion o£ this Resolution and shall cause the same to be published in <br /> three consecutive issues of the Santa Ana Register, a newspaper printed, <br /> published and circulated in the City of Santa Ara, and hereby designated <br /> for that purpose, and said publication shall be made and completed be- <br /> fore the date set for the hearing of all persons interested in or ob- <br /> <br /> Jecting to the proposed vacation. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPT~Y Council of the City of Santa Ara, <br /> regular~meting t-hereof held on the 22nd of July, 1946. <br /> California, at a ~ ~/~ ~ <br /> ATTEST~ri~~ <br /> <br /> <br />
