-RESOLUTION GIVING NOTIOE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF TEP. RITORY TO THE 0IT¥ OF SANTA ANA. WHEREAS, there has been presented to the 0ity Council of the Oity of Santa Aha, California, a Petition requesting the annexa- tion of the territory hereinafter described to the City of Santa Ana; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE 0ITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, as followe~ 1. That it is the intention of the 0ity 0ouncil of the 0ity of Santa Ana to call a special election submitting to the electors residing in the territory proposed to be annexed to the 0ity of 8&nra ~a, the question whether such territory shall be annexed to, incorporated in, and made a part of the Olty of Santa Ans. 2. That the territory to be annexed to the Oity of Santa Ama, Oalifornia, is particularly described as follows~ Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of Tract No. 284, Ohanticleer Manor, as per map thereof recorded in Book 1~, pages 1 and 2 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, said point being on the Westerly extension of the N^rtherly line of Tract No. 560, McFadden Home Tract No. 4, ~s per map thereof recorded ~n Book 19, pages 1 and 2 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County, said point being also on the East bounda2y line of the 0ity of Santa Aha; thence Easterly along said'\Westerly extension and said Northerly line of Tract No. 560'..~o the Northeasterly corner of said Tract No. 560, said Nor~h- east corner being a point on the Westerly line of Tract No. 696, 0entral Manufacturing District, Section No. 1, as per map thereof recorded in Book 20, pages 45 and 46 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County; thence continuing Easterly along the Easterly extension of said Northerly line of Tract No. 560 to a point which is 125 feet East of the East line of Standard Avenue, as said Avenue is shown on said Tract No. 696; thence South paral- lel to and distant 125 feet from the East line of said Standard Avenue to the South line of said Tract No. 696, being a point in Delhi Road; thence West along the South line of said Tract No. 696 and its Westerly extension to the Northeast corner of Emmettts Addition to South Santa Ana, as per map thereof recorded in Book 8, page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange 0ounty, being an angle point in the boundary line of the City of Santa Ana; thence West along the North line of said Emmettts Addition, being along the boundary line of the City of 8ants Ana to a point in the Southerly extension of the East line of Tract No. 638, ~urman Tract No. 1, as per map thereof recorded in Hook 19, page 17 of Miscel- laneous Maps, Records of said Orange 0ounty, being an angle point in the boundary line of the City of Santa Aha; thence North along the East line of said Tract No. 638 and the East llne of said Tract No. 284, being also along the boundary line of the City of Santa Aha to the North- easterly corner of said Tract No. 284, b sing the point of beginning, and situated in the County of Orange, State of 0alifornia.
