RESOLUTION 64-66 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, LAWRENCE L. MILLS and THELMA L. MILLS have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated April 16, 1964, conveying an easement for
<br />alley purposes south of First Street, 175 feet west of Baker Street;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, WILLIAM A. BUMSTEAD has delivered to the City a
<br />deed dated March 10, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the north side of Edinger Avenue, west of Gordon Place; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SOCONY MOBIL OIL COMPANY, INC., successor in interest
<br />to General Petroleu~ Corporation, has delivered to the City a quit-
<br />claim deed dated April 16, 1964, quitclaiming their interest as
<br />lessee to an easement for street purposes on the south side of
<br />Edinger Avenue and the east side of Bristol Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROBERT HAHNAU has delivered to the city a deed dated
<br />April 22, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes on the
<br />south side of Washington Avenue, east of Ross Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THE ROMAN CATHOLIC ARCHBISHOP OF LOS ANGELES, a
<br />corporation sole, has delivered to the City a deed dated April 13,
<br />1964, conveying an easement for street and highway purposes at the
<br />southwest corner of Euclid Street and McFadden Avenue; said deed
<br />is to replace an earlier deed granting the same property delivered
<br />to and accepted by the City by Resolution 63-163 on October 7, 1963,
<br />and thereafter lost before recording; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ALFREDO N. LEDDA and CORONADA E. LEDDA have
<br />delivered to the City a deed dated March 10, 1964, conveying an
<br />easement for street purposes on the north side of Roosevelt Avenue,
<br />west of Newhope Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CHURCH OF THE WAY OF SANTA ANA, a non-profit
<br />corporation, has delivered to the City a deed dated April 14, 1964,
<br />conveying easements for street purposes on the south side of Warner
<br />Avenue, east of Greenville Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are w~thout cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
<br />agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
<br />deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of May, 1964.
