RESOLUTION 63-163 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDF~RATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, MASON TETER and DOROTHY TETER have presented to the
<br />city a deed dated September 24, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes at the Southeast corner of Ninth and Spurgeon
<br />Streets; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THE ROMAN CATHOLIC ARCHBISHOP OF LOS ANGELES, A
<br />corporation sole, has presented to the City a deed dated August 13,
<br />1963, conveying an easement for street purposes at the Southwest
<br />corner of Euclid Street and McFadden Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JOHN L. SENTESY and EMMA T. SENTESY have presented
<br />to the City a deed dated September 16, 1963, conveying an easement
<br />for street purposes on the North side of Seventeenth Street, East
<br />of Towner Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THE NATIONAL LIFE AND ACCIDENT INSURANCE COMPANY,
<br />a Tennessee corporation, has presented to the City a deed dated
<br />August 23, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes on the
<br />East side of Harbor Boulevard, 600 feet South of Seventeenth
<br />Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, PACIFIC ELECTRIC RAILWAY COMPANY, a California
<br />corporation, has presented to the City an Indenture dated September 17,
<br />1963, conveying an easement for street purposes on the North side
<br />of Huntzinger Avenue, East of Harbor Boulevard; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, E. and R. DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, INC., a corporation,
<br />has presented to the City a deed dated September 30, 1963, conveying
<br />an easement for street purposes on the North side of California
<br />Street, West of Greenville Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, GERALD L. NANKERVIS and MARLENE K. NANKERVIS have
<br />presented to the City a deed dated September 3, 1963, conveying an
<br />easement for street purposes on the East side of Flower Street,
<br />North of Tenth Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THE IRVINE COMPANY, a West Virginia corporation,
<br />has presented to the City a Grant of Easement dated September 4,
<br />1963, conveying a non-exclusive easement for water mains, laterals,
<br />underground water pressure reducing and metering vault, and
<br />appurtenances thereto at the Northeast corner of Redhill and
<br />Warner Avenues; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, HUBER G. WILSON and LOUISE WILSON have presented to
<br />the City a deed dated September 26, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the South side of First Street, East of the Santa
<br />Ana Freeway, in consideration of improvements to be made at said
<br />location by the City. Said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 50263-K with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
<br />California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, WALTER H. LEIMERT, JR. has presented to the City a
<br />deed dated September 30, 1963, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes on the South side of First Street, East of the Santa Aha
<br />Freeway, in consideration of improvements to be made at said
<br />location by the City. Said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 50264-K with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
<br />California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, LURENEB. NICHOLS has presented to the City a deed
<br />dated October 1, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the South side of Bishop Street, West of Maple Street; and
