PARCEL 3: <br /> <br />in a Deed to the City of Santa Ana, recorded December 14, <br />1959 in Book 5014, page 317 Of official Records; thence <br />South 89° 39' 08" West 20.00 feet; along said Southerly <br />line to a line that is parallel with and distant <br />Westerly 20.00 feet measured at right angles from the <br />Westerly. line of said land of the Orange County Flood <br />Control District; thence South 0° 17' 52" East 112.19 <br />feet along said parallel line to the beginning of a <br />tangent curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of <br />810.00 feet; thence Southeasterly along said curve through <br />a central angle of 18° 04' 53" a distance of 255.62 feet <br />to a line that is parallel with and distant Westerly <br />20.00 feet measured at right angles from the Easterly <br />line of said Lot 7; thence South 0° 17' 52" East 258.47 <br />feet to a line that bears South 89° 30' 17" West from <br />the point of beginning; thence North 89° 30' 17" East <br />20.00 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />An easement for temporary construction purposes over that <br />portion of Lot 6 of the Williams Tract, as shown on a <br />Map recorded in Book 30, page 14 of Deeds, Records of <br />Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at a point on the Easterly line of said Lot 6, <br />distant North 0° 17' 52" West 590.00 feet from the inter- <br />section of said Easterly line with the Northerly line of <br />that certain strip of land 80.00 feet in width described <br />in a Deed to the Southern California Sugar Company, <br />recorded June 7, 1909 in Book 174, page 248 of Deeds; <br />thence South 89~ 30' 17" West parallel with the Southerly <br />line of said Lot 6 a distance of 20.00 feet, said point <br />being the true point of beginning; thence continuing <br />South 89° 30' 17" West 320.00 feet; thence South 0~ 17' <br />52" East 590.00 feet to the Northerly line of said land <br />of Southern California Sugar Company; thence South 89~ <br />30' 17" West along said Northerly line a distance of 100.00 <br />feet; thence North 0~ 17' 52" West 690.00 feet; thence <br />North 89~ 30' 17" East 420.00 feet; thence South 0° 17' <br />52" East 100.00 feet to the true point of beginning. <br /> <br />Said easement to expire not later than April 2, 1966. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City Attorney is hereby ordered to bring an <br />action in the name of the City to condemn said property necessary <br />to be taken and to do all things necessary to prosecute said action <br />to final determination; <br /> <br /> 2. That public interest, necessity and convenience require <br />and it is hereby ordered that said City take immediate possession <br />and use of the property herein ordered to be acquired upon <br />compliance with the requirements of law applicable thereto as a <br />right of way for public use; <br /> <br /> 3. That said public improvement is planned and located in <br />a manner which will be most compatible with the greatest public <br />good and the least private injury; <br /> <br /> 4. That the City of Santa Ana is authorized and empowered <br />to provide for the supplying of water to the citizens and businesses <br />within the City and all mains, lines, valves, vaults, reservoirs <br />and works appurtenant thereto to carry out said purpose and to <br />extend, improve, construct and maintain said water works syste~. <br /> <br /> <br />
