in the opinion of the said City Council, of more than local <br />or ordinary public benefit and the said C~ty Council has made the <br />expenses of said work and improvement chargeable upon a district. <br />For the particular description of said district, reference is <br />hereby made to said Resolution of Intention No. 62-156. <br /> <br /> Said City Council has determined and declared serial <br />bonds extending over a period of nine (9) years from the second <br />day of January next succeeding the next September 1st following <br />their date, and bearing interest at the rate of six percent <br />(6%) per annum, payable semi-annually, shall be issued as <br />provided by the "Improvement Act of 1911" hereafter referred to, <br />to represent assessments of ($50.00) or more for the cost of said <br />proposed work and improvement, remaining unpaid for thirty (30) <br />days after the date of recording the warrant in the manner <br />provided by the "Improvement Act of 1911", being Part 5, Division <br />7 of the Streets and Highways code of the State of California. <br /> <br /> All of the work herein ordered shall be done and <br />carried through in pursuance of the Act of the Legislature of the <br />State of California designated the "Improvement Act of 1911", <br />being Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br /> Said City Council hereby rejects all of the said <br />proposals or bids except the next hereinafter mentioned, and <br />hereby awards the contract for the said work and improvement to <br />the lowest, regular and responsible bidder, to wit: <br /> <br />at the prices named in its, bid for said work, on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City clerk of said City. <br /> <br /> The Clerk of the Council of said City is hereby <br />directed to cause a NOTICE OF AWARD OF CONTRACT to be published <br />in the manner and form required by said Cede in THE REGISTER, a <br />daily newspaper printed, published and circulated in said City, <br />and hereby designated for that purpose by the said City Council. <br /> <br /> APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of May , <br /> <br />1964. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
