RESOLUTION NO. 3882 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 3666 AND <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3860 REGARDING PURCHASinG <br />AGENT'S SALARY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore, City Ordinance Number 888 was repealed <br /> and Resolution Number 3860 was adopted to strike from Resolution <br /> Number 3666 the Classifications of "Auditor and Purchasing Agent" <br /> and "Assistant Auditor and Purchasing Agent" and to add a new <br /> Classification of "Purchasing Agent" in lieu of Assistant ~uditor <br /> and Purchasing Agent. <br /> <br /> NOW, TEE~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Resolutions Numbered <br /> 3666 and 3860 are hereby amended to change the Basic Rate of pay <br /> for the Classification of Purchasing Agent to Three Hundred Fifty <br /> Dollars per month. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the additional sum of Fifty <br /> Dollars per month is for additional duties as follows: <br /> <br /> The Purchasing Agent shall be: <br /> <br /> (1) The Chief of, in charge of, and responsible for the <br />personnel in the office heretofore known as Auditor and Purchasing <br />Agent, the Payroll Office and the Payroll Personnel, and the Per- <br />sonnel Office and Personnel therein. The Purchasing Agent is hereby <br />appointed as the employee to act. as Chief of Miscellaneous Depart- <br />ment as provided for in Section 30.05 of Ordinance Number 1056 as <br />amended by Ordinance Number 1197. The Miscellaneous Department <br />consists of Switchboard Operators, Janitors, Construction and <br />Building Trades Employees working in the City Hall on any work done <br />on a time and material basis where no contract is let, and is hereby <br /> <br />limited to miscellaneous employees attached to any Department <br /> <br />which are employed in or about the Cit~ Hall. <br /> <br /> (2) All those duties of the Auditor and Purchasing Agent's <br />Office not otherwise delegated to some other person or Department, <br />in particular as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
