enclosed in an envelope with sample ballot to be mailed to each <br />voter; to publish a notice of "Measure to be Voted On" and to <br />publish notice that a copy of said proposed amendment may be had <br />by registered electors on application thereof, all as required by <br />law. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Board of Supervisors of the <br />County of Orange be and it is hereby requested to grant permission <br />for, and to order, consolidation of the Special Election to be called <br />and held in the City of Santa Aha on November 3, 1964, with the <br />State-wide General Election to be held on said date. Said Board of <br />Supervisors is hereby authorized to canvass the returns of said <br />Special Election which it is hereby requested to consolidate with said <br />State-wide General Election and said elections shall be held in all <br />respects as if there were only one election, and only one form of <br />ballot shall be used. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said Board of Supervisors is <br />authorized to form the precincts within the City of Santa Ana, to <br />fix the polling places, appoint the precinct boards and provide for <br />the expenses of said election; that the election officers serving at <br />said consolidated election shall receive as compensation for their <br />services, the sum fixed by said Board of Supervisors; that the polls <br />shall be open between the hours of 7 o'clock A.M. and $ o'clock P.M.; <br />that the voting precincts, polling places and election boards shall <br />be those named and established by said Board of Supervisors for the <br />State-wide General Election to be held November 3, 1964. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of August, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
