RESOLUTION 64-119 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, RICHARD L. THOMPSON and BARBARA JANE THOMPSON have
<br />delivered to the City a deed dated July 22, 1964, conveying easements
<br />for street purposes at the northeast corner of Cypress Avenue and
<br />Camile Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROY C. PURSCHE has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated August 3, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes on
<br />the south side of Alton Street, between Main and Maple Streets; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, RALPH GARDINER GARRETSON, JR. has delivered to the
<br />City a deed dated August 3, 1964, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes on the south side of Alton Street, east of Main Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, UNION OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a California
<br />corporation, has delivered to the City a deed dated July 1, 1964,
<br />conveying easements for street purposes on the north side of
<br />Seventeenth Street and the west side of Broadway; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROY RUSSELL and ROY RODNEY RUSSELL have delivered to
<br />the City a deed dated July 2, 1964, conveying easements for street
<br />purposes on the south side of Seventeenth Street, 1000 feet east of
<br />English Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN ST. PETER'S CONGREGATION, a
<br />corporation, has delivered to the City a deed dated July 27, 1964,
<br />conveying an easement for street purposes at the southwest corner
<br />of Fifteenth and Parton Streets; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, IRVING SOLOMON, who acquired title as a widower,
<br />(as to an undivided one-half interest) and ALBERT SOLOMON and JEAN
<br />M. SOLOMON, husband and wife (as to an undivided one-half interest)
<br />have delivered to the City a deed dated July 15, 1964, conveying an
<br />easement for street purposes at the northwest corner of McFadden
<br />Avenue and Euclid Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, NEIL REITMAN has delivered to the City a deed dated
<br />August 7, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes south of
<br />Fifth Street, 660 feet west of Harbor Boulevard; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without a cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of August, 1964.
