RESOLUTION 64-195 APPROVING MAP AND DECLARING <br />INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF EDINGER AVENUE <br />AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF FLOWER STREET AND <br />EDINGER AVENUE AND RESERVING AN EASEMENT THEREIN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has requested that a <br />portion of Edinger Avenue be vacated because of realignment of said <br />street. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby <br />adopts the map attached hereto and orders the same filed with the <br />original of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Council, <br />and reference is hereby made to said map for details as to exterior <br />boundaries of the portion of Edinger Avenue proposed to be vacated. <br /> <br /> The City Council declares its intention to proceed with this <br />vacation under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 <br />(§§8300 through 8374 of the California Streets and Highways Code) <br />to vacate that certain portion of Edinger Avenue (reserving therein <br />an easement for utility structures) in the City of Santa Aha, County <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Commencing at the intersection of the center lines of <br />Flower Street and Edinger Avenue as shown on a map of <br />Tract No. 1888 recorded in Book 53 at pages 13 and 14, <br />of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, <br />California, and running thence South 89° 28' 50" West <br />along said center line of Edinger Avenue 185.00 feet; <br />thence South 0° 18' 20" East 13.00 feet to the true <br />point of beginning; thence South 0° 18' 20" East 27 feet <br />to a line that is parallel with and 40.00 feet South, <br />measured at right angles from said center line of Edinger <br />Avenue; thence North 89° 28' 50" East along said parallel <br />line 119.91 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, <br />concave Southwesterly, having a radius of 25.00 feet; <br />thence Southeasterly along said curve through a central <br />angle 90° 12' 50" to a point of cusp with a tangent lane; <br />thence North 0° 18' 20" West 27.00 feet to the beginning <br />of a tangent curve, concave Southwesterly, having a radius <br />of 25.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along the arc of said <br />curve through a central angle of 90* 12' 50" to a tangent <br />line that is parallel with and 13 feet South, measured at <br />right angles from said center lane of Edinger Avenue; <br />thence South 89° 28' 50" West along said parallel line <br />to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />RESERVING and EXCEPTING an easement and right of way to <br />construct, lay, install, use, maintain, alter, add to, <br />repair, replace, inspect and/or remove, at any time and <br />from time to time, aerial and underground electric lines <br />and communication lines, consisting of poles, guys and <br />markers and other fixtures and appliances, for conveying <br />electric energy to be used for light, heat, power, telephone <br />and/or other related uses, in, on, over, under and through <br />that certain real property in the City of Santa Aha, County <br />of Orange, State of California, described as follows: <br /> <br />A strip of land, 10 feet in width, lying within the south- <br />east quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 24, Township <br />5 South, Range 10 West, S. B. B. & M.; the centerline of <br />said strip being described as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the northeast corner of said southeast quarter <br />of the northwest quarter of Section 24; thence along the <br />easterly line of said southeast quarter of the northwest <br /> <br /> <br />
