RESOLUTION 65-2 ORDERING VACATION OF A PORTION
<br />OF EDINGER AVENUE AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF
<br />FLOWER STREET AND EDINGER AVENUE AND RESERVING
<br />THEREFROM A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, a request for the vacation of a portion of Edinger
<br />Avenue, herein described, was made by the Santa Aha Department of
<br />Public Works, and it was determined that public utility structures
<br />existed in said area and that said area should be vacated as a
<br />public street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held on the question of
<br />said vacation on notice contained in Resolution 64-195 and on
<br />published and posted notices as required by law and, after hearing,
<br />the City Council determined that the public street right of way
<br />should be vacated with the public service easement reserved.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
<br />the City of Santa Aha hereby finds that the portion of Edinger
<br />Avenue at the southwest corner of Flower Street and Edinger Avenue,
<br />herein described, is unnecessary for present or prospective street
<br />purposes and that a public service easement should be reserved.
<br />
<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby makes
<br />its order abandoning and vacating for street purposes, with the
<br />reservation and exception of the easement hereinbelow set out, that
<br />portion of Edinger Avenue in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange,
<br />State of California, described as:
<br />
<br />Co~uencing at the intersection of the center lines of
<br />Flower Street and Edinger Avenue as shown on a map of
<br />Tract No. 1888 recorded in Book 53 at pages 13 and 14,
<br />of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County
<br />California, and running thence South 89° 28' 50" West
<br />along said center line of Edinger Avenue 185.00 feet;
<br />thence South 0° 18' 20" East 13.00 feet to the true
<br />point of beginning; thence South 0° 18' 20" East 27 feet
<br />to a line that is parallel with and 40.00 feet South
<br />measured at right angles from said center line of Edinger
<br />Avenue; thence North 89° 28' 50" East along said parallel
<br />line 119.91 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve,
<br />concave Southwesterly, having a radius of 25.00 feet;
<br />thence Southeasterly along said curve through a central
<br />angle 90° 12' 50" to a point of cusp with a tangent line;
<br />thence North 0° 18' 20" West 27.00 feet to the beginning
<br />of a tangent curve, concave Southwesterly, having a radius
<br />of 25.00 feet; thence Northwesterlyoalong the arc of said
<br />curve through a central angle of 90 12' 50" to a tangent
<br />line that is parallel with and 13 feet South, measured at
<br />right angles from said center line of Edinger Avenue;
<br />thence South 89° 25' 50" West along said parallel line to
<br />the point of beginning.

<br />RESERVING and EXCEPTING an easement and right of way to
<br />construct, lay, install, use, maintain, alter, add to,
<br />repair, replace, inspect and/or remove, at any time and
<br />from time to time, aerial and underground electric lines
<br />and communication lines, consisting of poles, guys and
<br />markers and other fixtures and appliances, for conveying
<br />electric energy to be used for light, heat, power, telephone
<br />and/or other related uses, in, on, over, under and through
<br />that certain real property in the City of Santa Aha, County
<br />of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
