120 ORDINANCE NO. 597 ORDINANCE NO. 597. An Ordinance of the City of San---~--~ Ana,Oalifornia, pertaining to the regulation of parking, standin5 or operating vehicles upon the streets of said City and prohibiting the smoking by the Operator thereof and Fixing a Penalty or penalties for the enforcement of said Ordinance. The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, do ordain as follows:- Section 1. It shall be unlawful for eny person, firm or corporation maintaining or operating any motor vehicle for hire, to keep, deposit, store or stand any such vehicle on that part of Fourth street of said City between its intersection with BuSh Street on th~ gas~ and its intersection with Sycamore street on the West or on that part of the Zest half of Main street from its intersection with Pifth street on the North to its inter- section with th~ alley between Third Street and Fourth Street on the South or on that part of the West half of said Main Street from a point llO feet North of the curb line produced ou the Nor~ side of Fourth Street to the alley between Third and Fourth street on the ~outh, Section ~. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporst~on to deposit, store or stand any motor vehicle, for a longer period of time than three consecutive minutes on that part of the South half of Fourth Street from its intersec-~ tion with Main Street on the ~ast to a point 75 feet West from the curb line on the West side of Main street produced, cr on that part of the North ~ide of Fourth street from its inter- section with Main street on the West to a point 75 feet East from the ~azt curb line of Main street produced. It shall be unlawful for any persons, firm or corporation n~aintaining or operating any motor vehicle other than for hire to deposit, store or stand said vehicle on that part of tho West half of Main street com~encing at a line at right angles with the curb at a point llO feet North of the curb line on the North side of Fourth street produced, to the inter- sectdon of said Main street with Fifth streets on the Nortk. Section 4. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation maintaining or op<~rat'ing any motor vehicle for hire to carry or convey with said vehicle more than two persons at any time in excess of the factory rating of the capacity cf said vehicle including the operator or driver of said vehicle. Section 5. It shall be unlawful for the driver or operator of any motor vehicle for hire to smoke tobacco or other weed or mixture of a similar nature while operating said vehicle within the city limits of said City.
