Any person, fi~ or co~oratiou who shall ~iolate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be de~med gailty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not to exceed $10O.00, or shall be liable to imprisonment in the city jail not to exceed fifty days or shall suffer both said fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the court. Section,~°. Any person other than the owner in charge of any vehicle who shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a mms~em'~ nor and on comxct~on thereof shall be punished in the manner and to the extent pro- vided in Section 7 hereof, but the lgability to punis~hm~nt of owning such vehicle. Section 9. Any ordinance this section shall not affect the person, firm or corporation cr ordinances in conflict with this ordinance or part or parts thereof as it affects thia ordinance is to that extent hereby repealed. Section 10. This ordinance being of immediate necessity as to tho public welfare and as to the protection of life and property, the City Clerk shall cause this ordi- nance ~o be published once in "The Evening Blade" a dai~y newspaper published and generally circulatod in the City of Santa Aha and thor~upon the same ohal] take effect and be in force.
