,125 buxldinos endangered by drifting fire line desi~nated by ropes or guar~ls as except officers of the fire department from entering within the the ease may be save and and firemen or such other person or persons as may have permission of the officers of the fire dep~rtn~ent or police department and no person or persons shall break through or attempt to break through such blockade, or to run over with any vehicle the line of hose in use at the fire and any person or persons entering within the lines designa- ted by the ropes or guards and refusing to go outside of said line when directed to do so by any officer of the fire department or member of the fire department or any police officor of the City of Santa Ana, shall be liable both as provided by this Ordinance. Section 5. Any person, to fine and imprisonment or firm or corporation that violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or that resists or opposes the execution of or violates any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $100.00 or by imprison~ent for a period of 50 days er both in the discretion of the court. Section 8. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be pub- lished once in the "~,vening Blade" a newspaper of general circu- lation iu said City of Santa Aha, and thereupon and thereafter it shall take effect and be in force.
