105 <br /> <br />of the payments of said license in advance, a good and sufficient <br />bond with two sureties or surety bond in the penal sum of $500.00 <br />in favor of the City of Santa Ana, conditioned to guarantee the <br />payment of the license herein called for if such temporary location <br />or place of business should not be occupied for a continuous period <br />of six months. Any place of business for the transaction of any of <br />the kinds of business in this paragraph specified which has been <br />occupued for a period of six n~onths, shall thereafter be deen~ed a <br />permanent location or place of business. Any amount paid to the <br />City marshal as a license for a temporary place of business over ~nd <br />above or in excess of the license provided for by this Ordinance for <br />a permanent place of business for the sale of the foregoing articles <br />shall, at the expiration of said six months, be refunded by order <br />of the Board of Trustees to the person or persons paying said license <br />and said bond shall be cancelled and redelivered to the person giving <br />the same. Provided that any place of business for the transaction <br />of any of the kinds of business in the paragraph specified which is <br />being occupied before the passage of this Ordinance shall be deemed <br />a permanent place of business. <br /> <br /> (c) For hawking, peddling or itinerant vending of fruits or <br />vegetables except bananas or apples £rom wagons on the streets, or <br />canvassing or soliciting the sale of the same, or in soliciting ord~s <br />for any future delivery of any such articles or in delivering any <br />such articles previously contracted to be delivered and not mentioned <br />in this section, the license shall be $20.00 per year by the year or <br />Quarterly in advance; provided however that nothing herein contained <br />in this section or in this Ordinance shall apply to canvassers or <br />solicitors of any established business house in this City or to any <br />person or solicitor of established wholesale dealers who shall canvass <br />or solicit orders from estsblished de~lers only, nor shall this sec- <br />tion nor this Ordinance apply to farn~rs who occasionally sell their <br />own products raised on their fa~s and who are no~ thus engaged in <br />such peddling, hawking or itinerant vending as a business independent <br />of selling the products raised on their own farms. <br /> <br /> (d) ~or keeping <br />City the person keeping <br />each of said dogs a tag <br /> <br />any dog or dogs within the limits of said <br />the same shall procure from the marshal for <br />for which he shall pay a yearly license of <br /> <br />$~.00.
