<br />All conduits containing service wires must be insulated from all
<br />house conduits and must bepermanently and effectively separately
<br />grounded to water pipe, ground wire not less than Nc.lO B & 8.
<br />guage. All house conduits shall be bonded together grounded to
<br />water pipe. Ground connections to pipe and to conduit must be
<br />exposed to view or accessible and must be made by means of an
<br />approved grounding clamp. All ground connections must be made
<br />to main water supply pipe and not laterals. The neutral wire
<br />shall be grounded at the building service by direct
<br />
<br />to the water pipe. Neutral wire shall be
<br />the same as a conductor.

<br /> Section 9. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm,
<br />or corporation as principal, agent, officer, servant or employee,
<br />for himself or itself, or for another person, firs or corporation
<br />to install, alter, repair, add to, connect with or change any
<br />inside electrical wiring, connections, fixtures, appliances,
<br />apparatus, machinery, equipment or work, or to install any elec-
<br />trical meter or service wires without first securing a permit
<br />therefor, as in this ordinance provided,
<br />
<br /> Section lC. Whenever the City Electrician shall find
<br />any electrical wiring, connections, fixtures, appliances, appara-
<br />tus, machinery, equipment or work which does not conform to all
<br />the requirements of this section, he shall, in writing notify
<br />the owner or person in charge thereof, or of the building wherein
<br />the same are placed, to cease using electrical current in or
<br />through such electrical wiring, fixture, connections, appliances,
<br />apparatus, machinery, equipment orwork, and to have the defect
<br />therein repaired within a reasonable time not exceeding ten (lC)
<br />days from date of notice.
<br />
<br /> Such notice shall be in writing, describe and locate
<br />the building by street and number, and shall specify the par-
<br />
<br />all feed wires from sign.
<br />
<br /> Section g. The requirements
<br />hereby specifically declared to cover,

<br />for use as an electric sign or which may be used as an electric
<br />sign until such sign has been inspected and approved by the
<br />City Electrician. Three wire circuits shall not be allowed

<br />must be on a separate and individual circuit. Ail signs shall
<br />be provided with a switch so arranged as to entirely disconnect
