Every garage and clothes cleaning establishment must at <br />con~'orm to the fo]%owiug regulations: <br /> <br /> 1. No gasoline shall be allowed tc remain in mny <br /> <br />open receptacle of any kind in or about the garage or <br />establishment. <br /> <br /> 2. No gasoline shall be put into cr <br /> <br />where there is mn open light or when the engine is in momentum. <br /> <br />Regulations for automobile garage and clothes cleaning eetabllsh- <br /> <br />taken out of any automobile <br /> <br /> establishment. A notice in large letters "No Smoking" shall be dis- <br /> played in a conspicuous place and m~nner on the floors and at all <br /> entrances to any clothes cleaning establishments. <br /> <br /> 6. Handling Gasoline. Gasoline up to twenty-five gallons in <br /> amount may be kept inside of a garage and one gallon in any clothes <br /> cleaning establishment; provided thmt they are kept in safety metal <br /> containers, <br /> <br /> 7. Gasoline may be kept in approved portable filling tanks <br /> <br /> inside of a garage. No such filling tank shall have a capacity to <br /> exceed fifty (50) gallons. Every approved portable filling tank <br /> be amounted on all metal wheels with rubberJtires and shall be <br />shall <br /> <br />equipped with an approved pump fitted with hose attachment not to <br />exceed eight ($) fc~t in length with shut off nozzle. The gasoline <br />shall be pumped into the reservoirs of the ~utomobile from such <br />approved wheel tanks. Such portable wheel tanks when not in use <br />must be kept near the entrance of the building. <br /> <br /> 8. Storage of gasoline. Except as hereinafter provided, all <br />gasoline other than that contained in the tanks of automobiles shall <br />be kept in underground tanks in accordance with the fo]lowing speci- <br />fications: <br /> <br /> (1) No single tank shall have a capacity of more than three <br />hundred (300) gallons of gasoline. <br /> <br /> (2) All gasoline storage tanks shall be constructed of at least <br /> <br />12 guage galvanized steel or one quarter (4) inch black open hearth stock. <br />Provided tanks lees than 300 gallons may be constructed of less th~n <br />1/4" steel. <br /> <br /> (3) All tanks made of galvanized steel shall be carefully riveted <br />and soldered. All tanks made of black steel shall be carefully riveted <br />and calked. <br /> <br /> (4) All tanks shall Ce coated on the outside with asvhaltum or <br />oti.er rust-resisting material. <br /> <br /> (~) There shall be no openings or connections of any tank except <br /> <br />on the top thereof, smd no tank shall be connected either directly or <br />indirectly with any drain, catch basin, public or private sewer. <br /> <br />All lighting shall be by incandescent <br />NO smoking shall be allowed inside of <br /> <br />or fire shall be <br />ratiring room or repair <br /> <br />electric lishts. <br />any clothes cleaning <br /> <br /> 3. No stove, forge, <br />permitted in any garage, <br />shop. <br /> <br /> 5. <br /> <br />all times <br /> <br />open can or <br />clothes cleaning <br /> <br />torch ,or Other flame <br />except in the office, <br /> <br /> <br />
