372 The objects and pub-poses for which the indebtedness is proposed to be incurred is to pay the cost of the construction of the Birch Park Improv~r,~ent, in order .to properly light Birch Park, care for the lawns therein, construct proper side- walks, a~d to beautify thc grounds thereof, and prepare a place for keeping the tools used by workmen in the meinten~nce thereof. The cost of the ~irch P~k imprc.¥en.3nt ~is estimated to be ~lO,0OO.OO, and the amount of the principal of the indebtedness tc be incubated therefor is the su~ of $10,OO0.00, which su~ is and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income ~d revenue of the city of Sant~ Aha. The maximum rate of interest to be paid on such indebt- ed_ness ia hereby fixed at five per cent. per annum, payable semi- annually, which r~te of interest eh'al! not be exceeded in the issuances Of bonds for such indebtedness. Section g.~ The Board of' Trustees of the city of Santa Ana hereby orders %he submission of the several mbove stated propositions of incurring bonded indebtedness by the city of Santa Aha, for the several purposes, and in the several amounts of the principal of indebtedness to be incua-red therefor, as set forth in said Resolution Ho. 75~, aud in this Ordinance hereinbefore recited, described, and stated, to the qualified voters of the city of Santa Aha, and for th:~t purpose an election is hereby called end ordered to be held mt and within ~hc city of Santa Aha on Tuesday, thc 4th day o:~ April, 1922, which day is hereby fixed as the date on which said election shall be held, and the said election shall be a special election. Section lO. ?ne manner of holding such special election and the voting for o~ against incurring said indebtedness shall be as fol lows: The several propositions of incurring bonded indebted- ness by the city of Santa Aha shall be submitted to the qualified voters thereof by printed ballot. On said ballot the several purposes together with the amount cf the principal of the indebtedness to be incurred for such purpose shall be separately st,.ted, each as ~ distinct proposition.
