371 (The use hereinafter in this Ordinance of the words or phrase "Fire Engine House" is intended to mean and shall at all times be co~strued to mesh the municipal improvement described in this Section and set forth in Resolution No. 759.) It is hereby further determined and declared that the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha proposed to incur a bond- ed debt anl to issue ~ud sell t~e bonds of the city of Santa Ana to pay the cost of said municipal improve~ent, to-wit: said fire engine house. The objects and purposes for which the indebtedness is proposed to be incurred is to pay the cost of the construction of the fire engine house, in order to furnish and provide the city of Santa Aaa with adequate facilities for housing its fire apparatus, used in the extinguishment of fire. The cost of the fire engine house is estimated to be $1~,O00.00, and the amo~unt of the principal of the indebtedness to be incurred therefor is the sum of $12,000.00, which s~n is and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary a~unual income suud revenue of the city of Santa Aaa. The maximum rate of interest to be paid on such indebted- ness is hereby fixed at five per cent. per annum, payable semi- annually, which rate of interest shall not be exceeded in the is- suance of bonds for such indebtedness, Section ~. It having been determined ~nd declared by Resolution No. ~59 of the city of Santa Anm, passed by the vote of two-thirds and ~:~ore of all the :zembers of the Board of Trustees of said city, as the legislative branch thereof, theft the public interest and also the public necessity de:.~ande the c~:nstruction by t::e city of Santa Aaa of municipal improvements in Birch Park, a public park owned by the said city, consisting of the ~oqulsition of the necessary ms. terial, equipment, a~oaratus and appliances with which to con- struct a:~.d the o~nstruction of, in Birch Park, ornmuent~%l lights, underground lawn sprinkling system, cement walks, fountain, pergola, and tool house, in order to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of the city of Santa Ana, and the cost thereof will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of the city cf Santa Aha.
