Ve~el~ (SEAL) <br />City Clerk. <br /> <br />I hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance is a full, <br />true and correct copy of Ordinance No. 698 as the same <br />appears of record in my office, and that the same has Been <br />published according to law. <br /> <br />City Olerk. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 699. <br /> <br />An Ordinance of the city of Santa Aha, by the Board <br />of Trustees, as the city council thereof, declaring <br />its intention to order an improvement in said city, <br />describing the improvement, the land necessary to be <br />taken therefor, and the district.to be benefitted by <br />said improvement and to be assessed to pay the ex- <br />penses thereof, to be known as.the Assessment District, <br />referring to a map approved by the Ooard of Trustees <br />of the city of Santa Ana, indicating by a boundary <br />line the extent of the territory to be included in <br />the assessment district, ordering said map to be filed <br />in the office of the City Engineer, dir~ctlng the posting <br />and the publication of notice, designating a newspaper for <br />that purpose, and requiring the mailing of notice. <br /> <br /> ~'he °card of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana do ordain <br />as follows: <br /> <br />~ection 1. Public interest and convenience requires that <br /> <br />the city of Oanta Ana extend and open es extended McClay <br /> <br />Street in the city of Santa Ana to the uses of public travel. <br /> <br />The Board of Tr~stees of said city hereby declares its inten- <br /> <br />tion to extend and open as extended ~cClay Street, as follows:- <br /> <br />thirty (30) feet in width along, adjoining, immediately easterly <br />of and parallel with the east line of Lot 16, Eastside Addition, <br />extending North from the North line of ~ast Fourth Street, a <br /> <br />public street in the city of Santa Ana, a distance of 364.69 <br /> <br />feet; thence extending north and sixty (60) feet in width, <br /> <br />being 30 ft. in width each side of, along, adjoining and <br /> <br />parallel with the east lint of the North 20.81 feet of said <br /> <br />Lot 16, and the east line of Lot 9, Eastside Addition, 406.81 <br /> <br />feet to the south line of Central Avenue, also a public street <br /> <br />in said city. The above mentioned Eastside Addition being as <br /> <br />shown upon.a map thereof recorded in Book 1, page 21, of <br /> <br /> <br />
