more than ninety (90) days and who for the purpose <br />of carrying on such business, hires, leases or occupies <br />any room, building or structure for the exhibition or <br />sale of such ~oods, waras or merchandise, and the person, <br />firm or corporation so engaged shs!3 not be relieved <br />from the provisions of this section by reason of sssocia- <br />ti~g temporarily with any local de~ler, trader,merchant <br />or auctioneer, or by cenducting such temporary or <br />transient business in connection with or ~s a ~rt of or <br />in the name of any local dealer, trader, merchant or <br />auctioneer. <br /> <br /> The provisions of this section shall not apply to <br />con~nerclal travelers or selling agents selling goods <br />to dealers, whether sellinF for present or future <br />deliveries, by sample or otherwise, nor to persons <br />selling fruit, vegetables, butter, eggs or other farm <br />or ranch products." <br /> <br /> Section 13. That Section 85 of said Ordinance <br /> <br />shall read as fo]lows:- <br /> <br /> "For every person, firm or corporation conaucting, <br />m~na~irg or carrying on the business of running, driving, <br />or operating any ~utomob~le, automobile truck or any <br />other motor propelled vehicle for the transportation of <br />baggage, express, freight, household goods, merchandise <br />or materials for hire, for each such vehicle, under one <br />ton $~.00 per quarter; one ton and ~ot over three tons, <br />$5.00 per quarter; over three tons ~7.50 per quarter. <br />Trailers $3.00 each per quarter." <br /> <br /> Section 14. That bection 86 of said Ordinance <br /> <br />shall read as follows:- <br /> <br /> "For every person conducting, managing, c~rryi~g on <br />or engaged i~ any bus,ness ~ere!nafter enumerated, ~hal] <br />pay a tax of ~S.00 per quarter: <br /> <br /> Architect <br /> Assayer <br /> Attorney a~ law <br /> Auditor - Accountant <br /> Chemist <br /> Chiropodist <br /> Civil, Electrical, Chemical or ~echanical Engineer <br /> Chiroprsctor <br /> Dentist <br /> _0~tician <br /> Optometrist <br /> Oculist <br /> Osteopath or 0steopathist <br /> Physician <br /> Surgeon <br /> Sign Painter <br /> Veterinary <br /> <br />and every person carrying on or engaged in the business <br />of treati~g, curing, administering to or giving treatments <br />to the sick, wounded or infirm for the purpose of bring- <br />lug about their recovery, by any method or pursmant to <br />any belief, doctrine or system other than those herein <br />above specifically named, and chargln~ a fee or compen- <br />sation therefor, the sum of ~Z.00 per mo. <br /> <br /> <br />
