That section 54 of said Or- <br /> <br />dinsnce shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> "For every person engaged in or carrying on the <br />business of a peddler of flags, banner~:, baloons, <br />canes, horns, trumpets, musical or noise making <br />instruments of any kind, toys, badges, buttons, <br />shoe strings, hairpins, pencils, pens, combs,trinketl <br />or souvenirs of any kind, $2.50 per day." <br /> <br /> Section 10. That Section 67 of said <br /> <br />dinance shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> "For every person engaged in the business or <br />occupation of canvassing or soliciting or taking <br />orders for any goods, wares or merchandise, sold to <br />consumers by or thru canvassers, directly to <br />sumers, whether the canvassing be done for immediate <br />or future delivery, $§i00 per day. <br /> <br /> This section shall not apply to any employee, <br />agent or representative of any person, firm or <br />corporation that is paying a vocational tsx to the <br />city of Santa £~na a~ specified in this Ordinance." <br /> <br /> Section ll. That Section V4 of said Or- <br /> <br />dinance shall re~d as follows: <br /> <br /> "For every person, firm or corporation, conduct- <br />lng, managing or carrying on any theatrical or <br />vaudeville performance in any publlc hall, club <br />room, assembly hall., or theatre, whether or not an <br />admission fee is char~ed, $10.00 per day. <br /> <br /> That nothing in this section contained shall be <br />deemed or construed to require the holder of <br />theatre license to produce any additional l~cense <br />to conduct, maintain or carry on any theatrical <br />or v~udeville performance, when such Performance is <br />conducted at any such theatre so licensed." <br /> <br /> Section 12. That Section V8 of said Or- <br /> <br /> dinsnce shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> "For every person, firm or corporation engaged <br /> in the business or occupation of an itinerant <br /> vendor, $5.00 per day. <br /> <br /> The words "itinerant vendor" shall be construed <br /> io mean and include all persons, both principal and <br /> a~ent, who engage in a temporary and transient <br /> business in the City of Santa Ana, selling 2nods, <br /> wares or merchandise, with the intention of continl <br /> uing said business in said city for a period of not <br /> <br /> <br />
