That any firm, person or corporatio~ <br />violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be <br />guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon convfctiou thereof shall <br />be punishable by a f~ne of not more than Three Rundred <br />($~00) Dollars, cr by imprisonment in the County Jail for <br />a period of not more than ninety (90) days, ~ by bot~ suc~ <br />fi~e and imprisonment. <br /> <br /> SECTION IV. The City Clerk shall certify to the <br />passage of t?is ord!~ance ~nd cause the same to be pub- <br />li~ed twice iu the Santa Aha Daily Evening aegister, a <br />newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated <br />in the City of ~anta £na, California. <br /> <br /> The said Board of Trustees determines and declare~ <br />that this ordinance is passed to correct a~d remedy certain <br />conditions which have helped to spread disease in the City <br />of Santa Aha, and t~at tSe time necessary to make the <br />usual publications of ordl~ances would seriously endanger <br />the public health, and fbrl-that re,son declares thet an <br />emergency ordinance to take effect ard ~e in full force ~?~ <br /> <br />im~ediately upon its f~rst publication above dlrected, <br /> <br /> The above ordinance was raised, adopted ard appro~ <br />ed this 24th day of March, 1924, by the following vote, to- <br />wit: <br /> <br />AYES, Trustees C.N.
