972 SECTION III. A district will be benefitted by the extending and opening as extended of horth Sycamore ~ ~treet, and the district so benefitted and lieble to be assessed to pay the expenses of said improvement and known as Assessment District No. 49, is, in general terms, described as to-wit: Located in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, and described as follows: Beginning ~t the point of intersection of the North- erly extended center line of North Sycamore Street with the North line of ~est ~ashington Avenue; thence ~esterly along the North line of ~est Washington Avenue a distance of 90 feet; thence Northerly parellel to North Main Street to an intersection w~h th.e North line of Walton's Add,ion ss per map thereof recorded in Book 12, page 98 Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence Zester].y ~loug the North line of said Walton's Addition 62 feet; thence Norther- ly parallel to North Main Street to a point 61.42 feet ~outh of the South.line of Swanner's Addition as per map thereof on file in Book 5, pages 5 and 6, Miscellanesus M~ps, Records of Orange County, California; thence Easterly parallel to the South line of.said Swanner's Addition 42 feet; thence Norther- ly parallel to North Main Street to an intersection of the South line of the said Swanner's Addition; thence Easterly along the South line of £he said Swannsr's Addition and along theSouth llne of Block A of Swanner's Addition as per map thereof recorded in Book"lg, page 46, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, C~lifornia, to a point 15V feet Easter- ly from the center line of North Sycamore Street; thence Southerly paral]el to North Main Street to an intersection with the North line of West ~ashington Avenue; thence Wester- ly along the s~id North line 15V feet to the point of beginning. Reference is hereby made to a map approved by the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha by Resolution No. 1~12 epproved on the 2Sth day of July, 1924, and which map is now on file fn the office of the Engineer of said City, which map indicates by a boundary llne in green tint thereon the extent of the territory included in said ~ssessment dis- trict, and showing the land necessary to be taken iu blue tint, and which map shall govern for all details as to the land to be taken and as trict. SECTION IV. to the extent of the assessment dis- The Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Aha shall cause to be conspicuously posted along all streets and parts of streets, otDer public places and right of way, where any property is to be taken, and along and upon any privets unimproved property which is to be taken for the opening and extension of North Sycamore Street at not less than three hundred (~00) feet in distsoce, ~part, but not less th~n three (~) in all- NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK, the heading to be in letters not less than one inch in length end in legible characters, said notice ststing the fact and date of the passage of this Ordinance, and briefly describing the improvement proposed, and refer to this 0rdina~ce of Inten- tion for a description of the assessment district, and for further particulars.
