ORDINANCE OF INTENTION N0. 755. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES THEREOF TO ORDER AN I~,~PROVE~f.P/~T IN T}HE CITY OF SANTA ANA, BRIEFLY DESCRIBING T.~E IMPRO;E%~ENT, THE LAND NECESSARY TO BE TAKEN TITEREFOR, AND /N GENEPJ~L TERMS DESCRIBING THE DISTRICT TO BE BE~rEFITTED BY SAID IMPROVE~ ENT AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY T}IE EXPENSES THERE OF, AND KNOV~N AS TYE ASSESS~fENT DISTRICT; REFERRING TO A MAP APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES INDICATING BY A BOLrNDARY LINE THE EXTENT OF TIlE TERRITORY TO BE INCLUDED IN SAID CITY DIRECTING THE POSTINO, PUBLICA'TION AND MAILING OF NOTICES, AND DESIGNATING A NEWSPAPER FOR SAID PUBLICATION. The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ans do ordain ~s follows: SECTION I.. Pub]fo interest and convenimnce require~ ~nd it is the intention~of the Board of Trustees of the said City of Santa An~ to ormer an improvement in said City, which improvement in said City, which improvement is described as follows: The opening and extending of that portion of ~orth Sycamore Street in said City from the North line of ¥~ashington Avenue to the South line of Fifteenth Street, ex- cepting therefrom that portion shown ss now being opened snd dedicated to the City of Santa Aha, on map of Swanner's Add., as per mop thereof recorded in Book 5, pages 5 ~nd ~ of Mis- cellaneous Mvps, Reco~s of Orange County, California. The use of the word "improvement" in this ordinance means, and shall be held and construed to mean, the extension of the described street, ~nd the opening thereof as extended as hereinbefore set forth. SECTION II. It is necessary to take land in the opening and extension of North Sycamore Street, and the land necessary to be t~ken therefor is described as follows: Located in the City of Santa An~, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the ~orth line of ~est W~shington Avenue with the ~ort~erly extended center line of North Syca- more Street; thence ~.esterly ~long the Nortt~ line of ~est Washington Avenue e distance of ~0 feet; thence Northerly in a straight line to the Sout~sst corner of Lot l, Block B, ~wanner~s Addition according to a map on file in Miscellaneo~ ~ap Book 5, ~ages 5 and 6, Records of Orange County,,Califor' nia; thence ~asterly ~long the South line ~f Swarmer s Addi- tion a distance of ~0 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot l, Block A, Swanner's Addition as per map recorded in Book 19, page 46, Miscellaneous Hecords of Los Angeles County, Califo~ nfs; thence Southerly p~rallel to the second mentioned course to an intersection with the North line of ~ashington Avenue, ~0 feet Easterly from the Northerly extended center line of North Sycamore Street; thence Westerly ~lsng the North line of West ~shingtou Avenue ~ distance of Z0 feet to the point of beginning
