RESOLUTION 65-99 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, BENJAMIN W. PEARCY has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated June 7, 1965, conveying easements for street purposes at the
<br />southwest corner of Seventeenth Street and Clinton Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, VIRGINIA P. MUNOZ has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated June 1, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on
<br />the north side of McFadden Avenue, 180 feet west of Newhope Street;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, G.L.A. DEVELOPMENT COMPANY has delivered to the City
<br />a deed dated June 2, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />at the northwest corner of Edinger Avenue and Broadway; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, NEWR4AE M. WHITAKER has delivered to the City a deed
<br />dated June 4, 1965, conveying an alley easement for the right of
<br />ingress and egress and public utility purposes on the north side of
<br />Lime Street, 96 feet east of Patton Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CHAS. D. LINZA and FRANKIE MAE LINZA have delivered
<br />to theCity a deed dated January 29, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the south side of Seventeenth Street, east of
<br />Fairmont Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, a corporation,
<br />has delivered to the City a Partial Quitclaim of Easement dated
<br />April 26, 1965, quitclaiming to the City all rights acquired under
<br />a Grant of Easement dated March 21, 1950, from Melade R. and Rachel
<br />Gabriel recorded as document No. 14579 on March 29, 1950, in
<br />Book 1991, page 378 of Official Records, in the office of the
<br />Recorder of the County of Orange, State of California, insofar as
<br />said Grant of Easement~affects First Street as now established west
<br />of Hathaway Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City of Santa Ana.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 21s$ day of June, 1965.
