<br />"LICENSE ORDINANCE" NO. 658, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. VIO,
<br />AND THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS THEREOF: SECTION 14 (SAMPLE DISTRI-
<br />BUTION) AND PROVIDING A TAX THEREFOR; SECTION 28, REPEALING
<br />REAL ESTATE BROKERIS LICENSE FEE AND ADDING SECTION 28-A, PRO-
<br />VIDING A LICENSE FEE FOR REAL ESTATE BROKERS AND SALESMEN;
<br />SECTION 42, INCREASING THE LICENSE FEE FOR VEGETABLE SELLERS
<br />OTHER THAN PEDDLERS, AND PROVIDING FOR THE POSTING OF PENAL
<br />BOND AS A PREREQUISITE TO sECURING A PERMIT; SECTION 43, ADDING
<br />A LICENSE FEE FOR "FLATS AND COURTS"; SECTION 46, INCREASING
<br />LICENSE FEE ON LAUNDRY WAGONS AND ADDING SECTION 46-A, PROVID-
<br />ING A LICENSE FEE FOR SOLICITORS FOR LAUNDRIES; SECTION 49,
<br />INCREASING LICENSE FEE ON VEHICLES DELIVERING PETROLEUM PRODUCTS
<br />SECTION 65, PROVIDING FOR TAX ON SOLICITORS, DEFINING SOLICI-
<br />TORS, AND PROVIDING FOR PENAL BONDS AS PREREQUISITE TO THE ISSU-
<br />ANCE OF LICENSE; SECTION 68, PUBLIC STANDS FOR GUM AND SO FORTH
<br />REPEALED, SECTXON 92, BY ADDING SECTION 92-A, PROVIDING LICENSE
<br />FEE FOR SLOT MACHINES PAYING PREMIUM AND PROVIE[[NG PERSON LIABLE
<br />FOR SAID FEE AND METHOD OF PAYMENT; AND EXPRESSLY AFFIRMING ALL
<br />OTHER SECTIONS OR PARTS OF SECTIONS OF LICENSE ORDINANCE NO. 658
<br />AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 710, EXCEPT THC6E EXPRESSLY CHANGED
<br />OR REPEALED BY THIS ORDINANCE.

<br /> SECTION I. The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa
<br />Ana do ordain as folIows, to-wit:
<br />
<br /> 1. The Ordinance No. 658 of the City of santa Ana
<br />that Section 14 thereof which reads "For every person, firm,
<br />
<br /> an~
<br />
<br /> or
<br />corporation conducting, managing, or carrying on the business ofI
<br />distributing advertising samples, handbills,
<br />advertisements of any kind, $25.00 annually,"
<br />so as to rea~ as followw: For every person,
<br />tion conducting, managing, or. carrying on the business of dis-
<br />tributing bona fide samples, not carrying advertising matter
<br />other than such as may be printed on the actual container of the!
<br />sample, (distribution of all other advertising matter being pro-i
<br />
<br />hibited) $25.00 per year.
