&ny person violating or failing to comply with any <br />of the provisons of this Ordinance, or any rule or regulation <br />of the Street Superintendent, adopted pursuant thereto, shall <br />be ~ilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof~ shall <br />be punishable for a firwt offense by a fine not to exceed lift <br />($80.00) Dollars or by imprisonment in the City Jall for a per- <br />iod not exceeding fi~e (5) days; for a second violstion within <br />a period of one (1) year, by a fine not to exceed One Hundred <br />($100.00) Dollars, or by imprisonment in the City Jail for a <br />period not to exceed ten (10) days, or by both such fine and <br />imprisonment; for a third and additional offense conmaitted <br />within one (1) year, by a fine not to exceed Three Hundred <br />($300.00) Dollars, or by imprisonment in the City Jail for a <br /> <br />period not'to exceed three <br />and imprisonment. <br /> <br /> Section XXXVIII. <br /> <br />(3) months, or by both such fine <br /> <br />Repealing All Prior Ordinances <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana or- <br />dains as follows: That all ordinances which conflict with this <br />ordinance be, and the same are hereby, repealed; provided how- <br />ever, that any sections repealed shall not prevent the prose- <br />cution and punishment of any person, firm or corporation for <br />any act done or committed in violation of any ordinance which <br />may be repealed by this ordinance prior to the taking effect <br />of this ordinsnce, and shall not prevent any prosectulon or <br />action pending in any Court for the violation of any ordinance <br />repealed by this ordinance. <br /> <br /> The C~ty Clerk is hereby instructed to cause this <br />ordinance to be published three times in the Santa Ana Daily <br />Evening Register, a newspaper printed and published in, and <br />generally circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and hereby des- <br />ignated for the pub~icatlon of this ordl~ance. <br /> <br /> The above ordinance was introduced on the llth day <br />of May, 1925, and passed and adopted and approved at a regular <br />meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, on <br />the 18th day of May, 1925, by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees C.H.
