337 <br /> <br />foreman, or otherwise in charge of any advertising sign which <br />extends over any portion of the sidewalk or public street in <br />the City of Santa Ana, to have any advertising sign of the king <br />and character hereinbefore in this Ordinance described, unligh- <br />ted between the hours of seven P.M. and nine P.~. in the months <br />of October, November, December, January, February and March, or <br />unlighted between seven thirty P.N. and nine-thirty P.M. in the <br />months of April, Nay, June, July, August and September. <br /> <br /> SECTION IV. The Board of Trustees further ordains <br />that any person hereafter making application for a peEnit to <br />hang an electric sign over any portion of the sidewalk shall <br />file with the Electrical Inspector an agreement in writing to <br />light the said sign during the hours specified in this ordinance. <br /> <br /> SECTION V. That any person who violates any of the <br />provisions of this ordinance shall be punishable upon convicti~ <br />of said violation by a fine not to exceed Twenty-five Dollars <br />($25.00) for the first violation, and not to exceed Fifty Dol- <br />lars ($80.00) for the second violation, and that for each day <br />that the sign shall remain unlighted between the hours in this <br />ordinance set forth, a separate cause of action shall accrue. <br /> <br /> SECTION VI. All ordinances and parts of ordinances <br />in conflict with this ordinance or any part thereof are hereby <br />repealed. <br /> <br /> SECTION VII. The City Clerk shall cause this Ordi- <br />nance to be published three (3) times in the Santa Ana Daily <br />Evening Register, ~ daily newEpaper of general circulation, pub~ <br />lished and circulated in the said City, and it shall take ef- <br />fect thirty (30) days after the date of first publication <br />there~ . <br /> <br />The above and foregoing Ordinance was introduced on <br />the 8th day of June, 1925, and adopted on the 15th day of June, <br /> <br />1925, by the <br /> <br /> ~yes, <br /> <br /> Noes, <br /> <br /> Absent, <br /> <br />following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Trustees C.H.
